What is your most favorite memory of Manny Ramirez in a Red Sox uniform?

Mine is easily the game winning homer off of K-Rod in last years ALDS.

^ Bleh, not the smartest thing to say post in a sox forum.

I have a few:

That day he was just about traded, then came in to pinch hit and got an RBI single.

The high fiving the Red Sox fan on that catch.

And deff the ALDS Walk Off.

4:05pm yesterday? Seriously I'd have to go with the K-Rod blast followed by the high-five catch earlier this year.

Careful, you've already been pushing the envelope here.

The first time he went into the green monster and almost missed the next pitch. Only because I was at that game

Yeah, that was pretty hilarious.

My favorite Manny moment was any time that he came up big for us, which was plenty. I could never be bothered with his on field antics.

Second favorite. It caused the whirlwind that got him traded.

His first AB at Fenway.

I remember when we first got him, at Fenway we were all cheering "Manny, Manny, Manny" Goes to show how much respect he lost over the past few years.

for me it was when he became an american citizen and ran onto the field with a small american flag.

I dont I like the one where he was rolling on the ground and ended up laying on the ball. Of course all his big hits are memorable, but most players have one or two of those, its the other **** that sticks out to me and makes me laugh, and somewhat miss him.

Obviously the ALDS walk-off HR off K-Rod ranks up there. Some other moments that I can remember include:

-Manny running into LF with a little American Flag in his hand after he became a U.S. citizen.

-Manny cutting off Damon's throw in CF.

-During Game 1 of the 2004 WS, when Manny tried make a sliding catch
but his foot snagged in the grass and he went into a tumble roll (http://i.cdn.turner.com/sivault/image/2004/10/23/001333611.jpg):laugh2: (probably my favorite since I was at the game).

-During the 2003 ALDS when Manny hit a game tying homerun in Oakland, and after he swung he just stared at the ball a little bit and then pointed to the Oakland dugout as he jogged to 1st.

-In the 2003 ALCS when Clemens threw a high fastball that wasn't even close to Manny but Manny called out Clemens and the big brawl happened (another one of my favorites because I was also at that game).

-In Game 7 of the ALCS when manny threw out Kenny Lofton at second base when he tried to extend a hit into a double. It was funny cuz Manny just grabed the ball and threw a nonchalant throw to second but they still got Lofton.

-Manny's moonshot HR in Toronto that went in the upper deck where the seats are covered up.

-Manny sitting in the dugout rubbing Julien Tavares' head.

I probably could think of a ton more but those I remember pretty vividly.

The cut off of Damon's throw was classic.

And of course all the homers, RBIs....and all that.

Ehhh... I feel as though it was a very anticlimactic moment. First off it wasn't at Fenway and second off it's not like it was a walkoff or go ahead homerun. I feel as though there were so many more memorable moments.

He has some amazing moments no doubt about it. He grinded on me over the years with not running, not playing, not playing hard, awful plays in the OF, watching a hard hit ball fall in for a single thinking it was an HR.

The most memorable the cutoff. Second most memorable his bomb last yr against the Angels. Third him watching a towering shot bounce onto the field as he stood there with his hands raised.:p Can't remember where it was though? (Toronto?)

I just saw the Dodgers game highlights on Sports Center, when they showed Manny not hustling in the outfield and put the arrow on him i almost spit my cereal everywhere. That's great, have fun LA. Good luck
