i voted for arenas.. a PG doesnt necesarilly need to have many assists... ther are 2 types of PGs a pass 1st PG and a shoot 1st PG. arenas is a shoot 1st PG.. so dont say arenas isnt a good PG cuz he doesnt get many assists.

Chauncey, I voted for him at #5, so I have to here. Kidd probably has had the better career, but at this stage today Chauncey is my choice. His Pistons have been an Eastern perennial power...years and years at the top. And for whatever it's worth, Dwyane Wade said a couple of years ago that he was the best PG in the league.

At this point in his career Kidd has to take a back seat to Billups.

Why is Devin Harris on here anyways, I don't see Bibby's name and I don't think Harris is better than Bibby.

Because Parker is better and Parker destroyed Kidd in the last poll. Was not even close what so ever. Parker was the fans choice..

Wow, this a horrible horrible list. How is Billups not in the top 3, let alone top 5.

His numbers show he was better than any PG not named Chris Paul in the 07-08 regular season....

Some of us actually like winning titles and playing defense while being unselfish and a PG who shoots over 50% over a ball hog PG whose team actually plays better without him.

Kidd then at 7 I'll go with Chauncey.
Sure Kidd is old but Chauncey ain't young either.

Just b/c you win a championship you're a top 5 PG. So Tony Parker should be number one right in front of Derek Fisher? Come on if the Wizards did do better without him why would they give 111 mill. J Kidd should be above Deron Williams and Parker.

1.Nash (2x MVP been doing great most of his career)
2.CP3 (Been doing great for a couple years but can't crown him just yet)
3.J Kidd (Mr.Triple Double duh)
4.Agent Zero (The best PG at shooting in the league)
5. D-Will (Took his team to the Playoffs and did great there. A great clutch player and has nice D.)

I would vote for Gilbert Arenas, but he's just not a point guard; he's one of the most lethal scorers in the league, but he's not a point guard. So it's between Jason Kidd and Chauncey Billups. Kidd was better in his prime than Billups in his prime, but Kidd isn't in his prime anymore and Billups is. As of right now, Chauncey is the better point guard and he is way underrated. I think that right now Kidd is actually a little overrated. He wasn't in his prime, but he is now. My vote goes to Billups.

how is Jason Kidd not on the top five?!? he's a ****ing General! do you guys know what a triple-double is?! this poll is a write off..

Arenas is a glorified shoot-first sg (ala Michael Redd) playing pg (matched up against smaller pg's) who can't play defense.

It says alot about a player when he steps up in the NBA Finals and wins a Finals MVP over guys like Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili.

Then throw in the fact Parker does everything better than Arenas, then yeah he is the clear choice.

I wont even say Arenas is a better scorer, just more of a high volume scorer. TP's %'s are so much better.

That's what I have been trying to stress to these idiots on these forums.

Gilbert shoots a terrible FG%.. His FG% is worse than Allen Iverson's and he scores less than Allen Iverson (even though he's an inch behind Kobe in scoring this year).

Not to mention he never passes the ball, he doesn't even average Allen Iverson's assists... AI is a SG and passes more than him...

I just don't see what people see in Gilbert, other than the fact he can score but not at will like AI/Kobe/Bron.

I wish Gilbert would slide over to the 2 spot, he fits it better than being a point guard. Point Guard sets the offense up, he keeps the ball away from his team, how the **** is this a Point Guard?

It's a shame when announcers and NBA analysts agree that the Wizards are much better off without him... Gilbert needs to go to a team that needs a scorer at the 2 spot. Washington needs a better ball distributor, not a sub-efficient above-average scorer.
