Gotta go with Timmy. So many spectacular moments. I'll never forget that 96' Knicks series when he single handedly beat them with 38 points in game 7. Greatest single Heat performance by anyone other than Wade.

Ya, Hardaway is my choice as well, and yes Mourning was second.

this is rough because despite me hating on Shaq he did help bring a title which Timmy or Glen Arroz(rice in spanish for u white people lol) as i called him..didnt do. steve smith should be top 6 in my opinion as well. i'm gonna go with Glen Rice ..even though i think 4 is shaq 5 timmy 6 steve smith. that's just me.

Can you or Baller or someone explain to me how this works? We will be matched to a player? Who get's matched to a player, and how is that decided?

I took Shaq. I've lost most of my respect for him now, but his first 2 seasons here playing next to Wade were amazing. Those 2 seasons alone are enough to put him past the rest in my opinion. Remember he should have won the mvp his first season here.

We will, us Heat fans will get matched to a player.
I'm not sure how we're going to do it.

This whole thing was lazybone's idea so the last i saw of his explanation was this..hopefully this helps clear it up for u and some other people..

We're voting on the top 20 Heat players of all time...then we're voting for the best Heat fans. So..whoever is the #1 Heat fan, will become the "D-Wade" of the PSD Heat fan base. #2 will be the "Zo".

Basically, we're using player's names as awards for the most active, most intelligent and overall....just the best Heat fans on here.

It's not necessarily who you want to be...those of you who want Beasley or Mario. They haven't played a game yet, so they're not an accurate representation of how important you are to this forum. I'll use a random example....let's say i'm to the PSD Heat forum, what PJ Brown (random) is to the Heat. So the title of "PJ Brown" would signify my rank amongst us heat fans. get it?

^hopefully that sums it up. We'll figure out a voting system later. You can't vote for yourself, or something like that.

I voted for Tim Hardaway as the #3, btw.

I voted for Timmy!!!!

We got like 17 to go which is gonna take a lot of time to do since we are trying to vote for the (Heat fan team) (essentially who's who) or what not, so if there's a way to speed things up that would be great....

I voted for Timmy too.

Shaq should get more credit soon IF we base this on what the team accomplished with the player, but if this is voting for your sentimental favorites there will be at least 5 other guys who will go before him in my voting.

Btw Rony Seikaly should probably be on that list instead of Grant Long (or even Brian Grant), but it's alright, maybe some of you weren't born yet when he played for the Heat :D

Steve Smith's was the first Heat jersey I bought.

Having said that I feel old now :smoking:

I gotta say itís a toss up between Glen Rice and Tim Hardaway, but i gotta go with Glen Rice he is one of my all time favorite heat players ever. Heís got one of the nicest shots Iíve ever seen, hence the nickname G-Money. Also Glen was a badass on his own, Timmy had a bunch of stars around him. And if it wasnít for Glen Rice we would have never gotten Alonzo Morning. GLEN RICE #3
