cant see vince (and im a unc fan), t-mac(maybe if he does something in the next few years), webber or wallace.

ray will if the celts win another one with him and pierces mvp put him in.

i think dirk should because he and kg changed the way 7 footers play the game.

Add Dikembe/Payton/Kidd to the list of no brainers. They've done a lot for the league and will definitely be in the hall. Zo will probably also be inducted, hopefully.

Yes to Allen + Pierce. No to Wallace/carter(unless he does something great next few years). MAYBE to t-mac.

I am very surprised that Carter and Wallace are considered on the bubble. I also don't think Hill or Webber have enough of an argument to get in anymore. The rest of the names should be good candidates.

I think Kidd, Payton, Mutombo, Dirk, Allen, Pierce, Mourning will all be there.

T-Mac still could get in.

u do know the hall can't take everybody, right? out of those 12 players, i see maybe 5 or 6 making the HOF.

jkidd has to. he had a million triple doubles (dont feel like looking it up) i think its around a 100. one of the best passers all time. he definitely has to get in. idk if its 5 years after he retires but he will get in at some point.

How many times were each of them MVP again? How many scoring titles do they each have?

I like GP, but I'm sorry, AI is so much more an automatic HOF lock than him.

Let's reitterate here, it is EXTREMELY hard to get into the Basketball HoF, in part because it's the Basketball HoF, not just NBA HoF. That said, I'm skepticle on some of these, especially the bubble guys.

No Brainers
Shaq - YES
Duncan - YES
Iverson - YES, but only because his stats are so impressive and given his size.
Kobe - YES
Garnett - YES
Nash - MAYBE. I'm going to be completely honest here, even though he has 2 MVPs, he never won anything, and that was with loaded teams in Dallas and Phoenix. That's a big mark against him, especially given that he's a point guard.

Never an MVP, so we'll have to think about it first
Jason Kidd - YES
Gary Payton - PROBABLY. Honestly, I can't say I got why Payton was so highly regarded, but he is and will probably get in even though he never won a championship in his prime.
Dirk Nowitzki - NO. Was on stacked Mavs teams that didn't win a title (Admittedly, wasn't his fault given the competition in the west), including that classic choke job against Miami.

Bubble candidates
Vince Carter - NO. Flashy player with good stats, but that's it.
Ray Allen - MAYBE. That recent title helped him a lot. If he passes Reggie Miller on the all-time 3-pointer list, than I say a definite YES
Paul Pierce - MAYBE. I want to lean towards NO, but I really don't know
T-Mac - NO. See Vince Carter
Ben Wallace - NO. Great defender, but his lack of offensive capabilities hurt him.
Dikembe Mutombo - MAYBE. His longevity gives him a better shot than Wallace, but I still don't know.

Early Hall potential has since faded away
Grant Hill - NO. Very good player, and I'd change it had he won a title with the Pistons, but he didn't and his injuries seal the deal.
Alonzo Mourning - MAYBE. Honestly, his injury issues weren't until later in his career, I think he should be in the above group. The fact that he continued to play after his kidney issues (And later transplant) could work in his favor
Chris Webber - NO. This would be a YES if he won a title.

If McGrady can do something special in the post season for the Rockets in 08-09 he'll 1. probably finish his career as a Houston Rocket & 2. make it into the HOF.

He's already a two time scoring champ and was the best player on a team that won 22 straight games.

Vince Carter on the other hand, sucks ***. He should never ever be inducted into the HOF. The good news is that Carter will never do anything. He got paid and thats all he cares about.

Jason Kidd is a No-Brainer
