Word is that the Hornets do not want to resign him, if that is the case then why not pick him back up.

I don't think he'd even wanna come back after last year.

i'd bring him back if i could. he's a solid role player.

the biggest reason for the trade was to off load Mike James contract.

I would if I were Morey, sign him to 1 year contract with a team option for the 2nd. Little to no risk but the Rockets arent going to sign anyone with their MLE until the Landry situation is resolved, hes literally the best free agent available for the Rockets.

Bonzi wont get too many minutes now that we got Barry. But he will be a good option when TMAC goes down again next season.

Adelman is the only real coach who seems to love Wells. I don't think there will be any major competition for his services. Rockets could just wait it out till the summer ends, and just swoop him up real cheap before the season starts.

Put him as the backup to Battier.

He sure wasn't one this past season when T-Mac went down. I think he had one decent game. I just think Bonzi is not motivated enough to be the player he was 4 years ago (or even close to it). He has put on 20 lbs since then and has yet to lose any of that. If he lost the extra weight that would show he is serious again about being a good player.

The Hornets desperately need scoring off their bench and they will bring back Ryan Bowen instead of Wells. That should tell you all you need to know about Bonzi...

I'd like him off the bench if the price is right.

Bonzi had alot of great games for us last year look at the game log, He would be Battier's backup off the bench unless Adelman is gonna sit Barry out the season til the playoffs

Yea, give him a chance to get good and fat and out of shape. If they want him they need to go ahead and get him now and make sure he's training. I don't think he'll be here again though.

He can easily get 10pts off the bench if he backup Battier

And that's all you really need. You wouldn't need to trade for Artest if you have Bonzi to come off the bench. You just need some more scoring.

Well, Lets see what Bonzi Wells wants to do, but if we get him then our bench dept just gets that much better, I hope the Rockets gets rid of the junk that we have in our bench like, Head, Novak and another player, we need to have all of our bench players capable of helping the Rockets in 1 way and not just have guys like head and Novak who aint gonna help much in the playoffs.
