View Full Version : The last two Franchises

07-24-2008, 03:00 AM
O currently Nba has 30 franchises, some people would argue that 32 is the perfect number since NFL has 32 Franchises.

Wich two cities shoudl get the last Two ?

Ill post a poll

seattle def 1 of them...the second one i have no clue, Pitt, Cincinatti, Las Vegas, New Jersey(after nets leave)...

i would probably go with Seattle and Las Vegas with north jersey in a close 3rd

seattle and st louis

St. Louis would be a great place to have a team.

07-24-2008, 04:10 AM
It's amazing how Pittsburgh has historic franchises in the other 3 sports but not a single NBA team

07-24-2008, 08:51 AM
Pittsburgh once had an ABA team, but they didn't make it to the NBA. I also feel that LA doesn't NEED two teams and would not be surprised to see the Clippers move in the future.

and other: A New England city. You have none on the poll. Maybe out of Manchester NH? Hartford CT? a couple of big cities.

07-24-2008, 10:35 AM
Seattle got straight up robbed. They deserve a franchise. I'm going with Kansas City as my second just because its different.

07-24-2008, 10:59 AM
Vegas and Seattle

07-24-2008, 11:21 AM
I think Vegas would be great and Kentucky (either Lexington or Louisville) basketball is huge in KY already, a solid NBA franchise could do great

07-24-2008, 11:43 AM
It would be nice to bring back Seattle and St. Louis Spirits of St. Louis

07-24-2008, 12:57 PM
Bring bAck to Life some aba franchises into the Nba, might be cool.

Like say Kentucky Coronels?

07-24-2008, 01:56 PM
Seattle, and Las Vegas

07-24-2008, 02:00 PM
vancouver and seattle.

07-24-2008, 02:10 PM
Vancouver and Vegas just cause Seatlle just lost theirs and if they were to get another one it would be a few years

07-24-2008, 02:52 PM

07-24-2008, 03:46 PM

07-24-2008, 04:23 PM
i vote seattle and st louis, i don't think canada will ever get another team.

07-24-2008, 04:38 PM
seattle and vegas

07-24-2008, 04:57 PM
I heard some people saying that new jersey was supposed to lose their team, whats the story on that

07-24-2008, 06:25 PM
None of the above...30 is enough

Hurricane Chise
07-24-2008, 06:41 PM
I heard some people saying that new jersey was supposed to lose their team, whats the story on that

the nets are moving to brooklyn within the next year or 2

...I think Las Vegas would be a great city for a team, Seattle wouldn't be a bad idea either mainly because I feel horrible about them gettin jacked for their team. I also like Kentucky and Pittsburgh. Kentucky because it's such a huge basketball holy land and Pittsburgh because like somebody said; they have historic franchises in 3 sports but none in the NBA.

07-24-2008, 06:44 PM
Ouch, no Baltimore love?

Las Vegas and San Diego

07-24-2008, 06:52 PM
Baltimore should have won and st. louis 2. i dont think las vegas needs a team they already have enogh entertainment and there would be 2 many distractions.

07-24-2008, 06:59 PM
seattle and st louis

07-24-2008, 07:38 PM
Cincinnati and Kansas City both have MLB and NFl why not NBA..

07-24-2008, 07:57 PM
As a resident of upstate NY I would love for Syracuse to get a team again,I know Rochester is up there but thats too far for me to drive. The second team,I would like Seattle to get a team again.

07-25-2008, 05:04 PM
Seattle and Viva Las Vegas.

07-25-2008, 05:08 PM
I know this wont be a popular pick... but putting a team in Montreal, San Juan, and/or Mezico DF would be the best move, financially, for the league. Putting a team in these places would completely open up a new market... This is a business after all...

07-25-2008, 05:23 PM
mexico and anaheim maby a new team will come
