If it doesn't go to Cliff Lee, then something is wrong.

AAA/terrible in the majors last year, and he starts this years ASG?

He was pitching with a messed up arm last year... Besides the year before that one he pitched pretty good so, i really think it should go to Mussina since everyone thought he was about to retire.

Mussina was bad last year, and has been quite good this year.

Lee was awful last year, and has been one of the leagues best pitchers.

How would it go to Mussina over Lee? Mussina was good in 2006, too, so what does that prove?

You could go either Mussina or Lee to be honest. Lee is supposed to do well, but just hasnt yet. Mussina is 38 years old and basically dominating with a 83 mph fastball

Agreed.

I think a lot of people believed he'd be very good. Certainly not an ace, but very good. I'd like to see how many people in fantasy leagues owned Cliff Lee or Mike Mussina to start the season.

Further down the list than most of the pitchers already mentioned here, but Chan Ho Park has been surprisingly good, considering that most thought his career was over.

Jon Lester. No one was even sure he be in the rotation entering the year with Beckett,Dice K, Bucholz,Wakefield,Colon and Schilling. Its hard to imagine that he been there most consistant starter. For how much Redsox paid for Dice K he was soppose to be really good but Lester has 2 shotouts. A no hitter. 5 games where he didn't allow a run.
