Sleepers- Casey Mears (has always ran good at Indy and so has Hendrick, so why not) Reed Sorenson (fighting for his contract extension and Ganassi runs good with cup cars here)

My sleeper is gonna be Hornish. Other then that Smoke should probably dominate. I think that Martin will run pretty good also. He said that he was gonna run the same car that he dominated in earlier this yr. So I guess we'll see.

this race is a disgrace to NASCAR... I know there is nothing the car do about it now, but its amazing that after a tire test goodyear couldnt make a tire thatll run more than 15 laps without blowing

I agree 100%. I stopped watching after the constant cautions. I love racing without cautions, so I couldn't stand watching the race.

:pity:

my guy won... and I do think he had the best car, but still, that was more like 10 short sprint races all smashed into one race

Only got to see a the last laps, from that i thought it was good, but compitition cautions seemed to kill the race.

other then at the beginning when they were blowing tires, that race sucked ***. for being one of the "crown jewels" of nascar, they really blew it today. If they would have had a harder tire, and less cautions it would have been a totally different, and better race. Hopefully they will learn from all the grief that they are going to be getting for this and not have a repeat of this again.
It would have been pretty interesting if they would have had to use the Pocono tires. They were supposedly even softer then what they were using.

I didn't watch, but have read about it. What is a 'competition caution?'

a caution that nascar throws at a certain time due to unusual circumstances to let all the teams pit and check their tire wear.

This in no way was nascar's fault, and its hard to blame goodyear too. They did a tire test at indy, and they brought a tire that would work according to the tire tests. If you want to blame anyone, blame the guys that did the tire test for goodyear for not driving 100% during the test.
