List any vets or players that were drafted and then traded for a future pick and then the future pick turned out to be someone just as good or better.

Sorry I can't think of any but this was kinda in my head all day.

Yeah, it was. But that does not mean that Atlanta would have taken Gasol if they still had the #3 pick.

And it would seem as if stupid is contagious Atlanta had it and gave it to the Grizzlies now if only the Lakers would get it.

Shareef had been great until that moment, the case is since this same moment until now Gasol is having a better career than him, oh and they gave up Lorenzen wwright too to make it worst....

I know the Rockets made a couple trades in the past (Late 90's-early 2000's) that resulted giving up a lottery pick, and a couple of mid-round picks.

The trade that ended up wit the defending champion lakers getting a top 5 pick and getting to choose James Worthy in the '80s

Miami Heat trade 1st rounder along with (champion) Walker to Minesota for Ricky davis and Mark Blount. After Riley was been praised as a genious, Miami tied for NBA's second worst regular season record.

shane for rudy gay i think rudy would have done more for the rocket than shane dont get me wrong shane defence is great but the rocket biggest weakness is they need a 3 option somene that can score off the ball and create their own ***

Gay is one of the best young players on the wing in the NBA now, the Rockets got worked over :(

What about that deal when the Celtics traded Roy for Telfair?

Marc Better than Pau.....would not rule it out , but i see it a little difficult.

in my opinion Marcs ceilling is being a Solid Starter but not an All.star.

Well technically the pick they traded landed Randy Foye, who, while better than Telfair, hasn't done anything out of this world yet.

Shane Battier was traded for Rudy Gay (and Stro Swift), pretty fair trade actually
