Any one of them. Their core players are pretty much the same, with a few roster changes.

lets see...one of the biggest reasons LA lost this year is because they had nobody dominant enough to punish them for throwing their entire team at KB. that would differ greatly with shaq and ppl that could actually hit their threes. besides that, you cant compare a three peat to a first time winning group. get at me if they 3 peat

awkward but shaq would destroy perkins. garnett is better than horry by far. same for pierce to fox. kb is ay better than allen. and idk about fisher and rondo. they both have their deficiencies so its a tie to me. but LA wins. their better players dominate while garnett isnt the guy to try and take over and pierce cant do it alone. esp not with shaq rdy for him

This is easy. Shaq scores 25 in the first half of every game. The Celts throw a rotation of bums at Shaq holding Perkins for the 4th Q. Shaq gets tired scoring, and of his rotten foul shooting, and the Celts eek out 4 of 7 due to KB and Pierce.

The Lakers by far. That Laker team has obviously proved what it was made of and that was a three-peat and four Finals in five years. This Celtics team has won a single championship and I personally do not think they will win anymore due to age and losing a few core players (Posey, Brown, Cassel).

Shaq was way too dominant for them to handle and add that to the Lakers championship experience of Robert Horry, AC Green, Horace Grant, Ron Harper, and Brian Shaw. They also had defensive stoppers in Rick Fox and Kobe Bryant. They also had a guy who could open up space for Shaq and attack the defense in Kobe Bryant as well as great outside shooting.

That team would've been way too much for the Celtics to handle as they like to pack the paint and allow outside shots, but this team was great in every facet of the offensive game. If the Celtics packed the paint then Horry, Fisher, Harper, and Shaw would drain threes. If the Celtics had ran out on them then Shaq and Kobe would've killed them. Also, that Laker team was a very very good defensive team. I think if this was a 7 game series then it would be a clean sweep of 4-0.

The Celtics defense would limit the Lakers scoring in this matchup. They would stand the best chance against the 2002 Lakers.
