This article was dated July 4th, so a few things have changed on the team with Camby now gone and Najera

The Good:

Linas Kleiza still has one year remaining on his rookie contract for a cheap $1.8 million. The young forward really established himself this year as a tough player with good range on his jump shot. Kleiza averaged a respectable 11.1 points on 47% shooting and even hit a few threes here and there. He looks like he will develop into a pretty good role player and Denver should try to keep him after next season

The Future:

This season, Nugget fans saw classic Allen Iverson. He led the team in scoring with 26.4 per game, added 7.2 assists and 2.0 steals, and he shot the ball pretty well. Although, for over $20 million dollars a year, you would expect better results for the team than an 8th seed in the playoffs, even in the stacked West (and the Nuggets were lucky to get that). Itís clear now that Iverson and Anthony together will not be enough to climb the playoff ladder. Minor adjustments probably wonít make much of a difference and they canít really afford to keep super sub JR Smith. With a sky-high payroll, it might be a good time to begin dismantling.

Look for a big name to be moved from the Nuggets this summer. Something has to change.

For the most part what do you think about that article?

Already past my bedtime, so too late to post in detail, but they sure made the call about the dismantling part! :laugh2:
