Great addition

He got overpaid, but that was the only way they could get him. This team needed to add a solid F/A or two since they shipped out their draft pick. He immediately becomes their 6th man or possibly even the starting SG.

Now they need to re sign Pargo.

Great 6th man to shoot the 3. He plays great D as well.

Great 6th man to shoot the 3. He plays great D as well.

For that kind of money, he better be able to do more than shoot the 3 haha

This move brings them to a whole new level IMO. He makes them a stronger team on both ends of the floor and whenever you need bench help, he'll be there to give you 100% effort.

I say this many times about the few players that actually enjoy playing defense and James Posey happens to be one of the very few players in the NBA who actually enjoy playing defense. He is also a great outside shooter who should compliment well alongside with Chris Paul. Whenever Peja is tired, there comes Posey with more energy to get the job done.

This is a very tough loss for the Boston Celtics as they've won many games throughout the year because of the help of James Posey. Their bench certainly isn't going to be the same.

On top of that, he's got championship experience and in the likely case that the Hornets do make it to the championship, Posey's championship experience may help the Hornets win a championship with the help of the rest of his teammates of course.
