if your going to put shaq and tim Duncan there you have to put Kobe come on man ive seen his game for a long time and it's not even close Kobe is all around the best player this game has to offer.i'n not saying he's a top four player "yet"but he should be on this list.

I said Shaq who is one ahead of Earvin on my list, but I am very biased. I have always been a fan of his and the fact I watched him while I never saw Magic helps him too.

Number 4 has to be Bill Russell, the greatest winner of all time with those 11 rings.

Once again, each of those players have led teams and won as their teams best player.
And if you didn't believe that Kobe was top 4 then why did you vote for him when on the list for 2nd greatest?

magic is number four all-time but to me he should be the greatest ever.

Then why did you vote other in the official #1 player of all time one then?

Voting #1 (http://www.prosportsdaily.com/forums/poll.php?do=showresults&pollid=13962)

And then you still voted for other here when you already said Magic was 4th. So are we are supposed to take you seriously when you write in one post one thing and then vote for someone else?

I took Olajuwon. Bill Russell dominated against short white guys.

Magic. I think Magic is actually #3 or even #2 all time.

Bill Russell for sure!
he won so many titles and in the end isn't that the goal?
To win 11 titles is insane, that is such an achievment, and he was the best player on those teams.
anyways he was a beast, he dominated, and IS the art of shot blocking

I would say Magic because he revolutionized the PG position, he has to be #4 with the Big O and Russell pushing him for the spot

i think hakeem should be close if not at #4... to stir up some controversy i think he's a better player then kareem... he played in the era that had the best big men ever... ewing, shaq, zo, david robinson... im sure im missing someone but my point is he is the most complete centre ever to play, amazing footwork in the post and arguably the best defender of all time... mutombo was the one i was missing

I took Olajuwon. Bill Russell dominated against short white guys.

Actually everytime I've en Russell play the guys he was up against were not short and not always white....Wilt Chamberlain was bigger and stronger than pretty much every player in the NBA today....

He also played against Kareem for many years....the Rockets actually took down the Lakers in 86....I would say Kareem had a more decorated career than Hakeem....and was a better offensive player....Hakeem was a better defender though and I would say was more agressive than Kareem when the game was on the line....Hakeem also had to carry a bigger load....but Kareem had alot more MVP's, alot more rings, and alot more productive years....so even though Hakeem is my favorite player of All-Time....I can totally see why everyone ranks Kareem ahead of him....

One more thing.....Magic Johnson is not THAT much better than Bird....in fact....it's debateable that he is....Magic has career sucess on Bird but thats about it....they were even on everything.....Bird was every bit of good of a passer and was a better defender, shooter, and rebounder....people say Larry Bird was too unathletic to make it in todays game and I would have to call BS....Tim Duncan, Chauncey Billups, Steve Nash, and Dirk Nowinski have all been MVP's in the regular season or Finals....and none of them were more athletic than Bird....people say MJ is the greatest of All-Time but he got constantly swept by Bird's teams and Bird would usually dominate him...not saying he's better than MJ but when you put them against each other....they were not too far apart....so that argument is out the window....Bird was not a lock-down defender...but he was a smart defender and made some All-NBA defense teams.....Bird was a 3-time MVP in the 80's....and a 2-time Finals MVP in the 80's....if not for the death of Bias and injuries to key players....we might be looking at 5 or 6 titles for Bird....so guys...I beg you....stop sleeping on Bird....the guy was a top 6 player of All-Time EASILY....

Magic...#2 in my book. The margin between Magic and any other PG is bigger than any other difference between the 1 and 2. 5 rings...would do anything to win. 6-9, played all 5 positions...if he had better D he could have been the GOAT.

What makes him that much better than Bird that merits him to be soooo good that there isn't even a compaison??

Magic is 3 to me....behind MJ and Wilt and just in front of Bird because of the head to head sucess....

HAHAHAHA. I wonder why :eyebrow:

Should just get rid of the "Other" option because we all know who it's referring to and who will vote for him

I can't believe people think Magic takes this "easily."

He's won 5 titles and 3 MVPs.

Bill Russell has won 11 TITLES and 5 MVPS. Nobody touches that. The last season of his career THEY CREATED THE ALL-DEFENSIVE TEAM just to put him on it. The greatest winner and defensive player of all-time should be the choice here.
