would u guys like this trade idea. if u dont then get out of my face id do this trade in a heart beat for the heat but for the lakers i dont think so cause they have already a shooting foward thats lamar odom but the lakers can put this guy in pf doesnt matter

Lakers perspective, no - Heat, yes. If I were GM of the Lakers I'd be doing every thing I can to get Artest. Odom is a nice player, good stat guy...versatile, but it takes more than that to win in the playoffs. Artest would be a great compliment to Kobe.

I'd do it if you threw in Beasley. Plus, Marion would be the SF, not Odom.

Why would they do that. then Marion expires and the Lakers dont even have the cap room to sign him. So then they loose Gasol and Marion in 2 years.

It's called Bird Rights. They go with traded players when they're still in a long contract (3+ years).

Beasley and Gasol is not a good front court. I'd rather trade for a tough and defensive-minded center
