No, it's good to have it right out there so people can see it easily. I might merge this into the summer league thread later, but for now it can be used as the game thread.

So far in the first...

Elton Brown:

3-4 from the field and from the line for 9 pts, 2 o-boards, 2 d-boards, 2 pfs, 1 to... most impressive line of the bunch up to now.

the standouts for the game were Sonny and Dahntay the biggest disapointment was Taurean and that Chris Lofton didn't play.

Nobody will do that for years and years to come, if ever again.

I'm no Kobe fan, but that was a transcendental and historic moment in sports.

yes it is DEN especially in this day and age, where defense is a priority to winning. But wouldn't that be ironic if it was a second tier player like Weems that pulls that off.:D.

If anyone on the Nuggets does that, it ain't gonna be Weems (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6SaYDkvlGo)...

Yeah, that is unfortunate.

But all I'm really trying to say is that even though I'm really glad to see Weems put in an impressive first performance, I'm not going to get too excited about that yet, because:

1) We still haven't re-signed JR, who has already demonstrated in the real NBA a lot more evidence that we should be more excited about him, and

2) Because I'm still jaded on the summer league after getting so jazzed about Von Wafer's great performance last year and then getting burned as he turned into a huge disappointment.

But without JR it could have been 30..

thats true but also i can guransheed that if any other had a bench player score 43 against the bulls they would more than likely win

that was an amazing performance by JR even he himself could not put up 81,82 though that was a feat that most likely will not be broken for a long time. Im thinking 2 closest players will be AI and Melo maybe around 60.

D-Rob "David Robinson" dropped 71 points on the Clippers back in the early 90s.

Jordan's the man under him with I think 69?

T-Mac has 62, Shaq has 61, and AI has 60.
