Expected? Not really, he had actually just beat the brain tumor thing, but it must have come back. RIP Bobby, all the Yankee interviews about this are so sad.

Hmm. I thought a month or two ago I heard that he had taken a serious turn for the worse. Maybe not.

I just saw an interview on ESPN with Joe Girardi, and he started crying because he idolized him growing up, and that was really sad.

dang. Im a big yankee fan. and Im young and didnt even like idolize him or watch him but i know of him and that makes me sad. he was to young. i mean not young young but to young to die

That still doesn't change my disdain for Joe "I'm going to bring a new energy to this team" Girardi.
