It seems like Kwame is out of our range, And tinsley might be an option? I dont like it because he is injury prone....But he has good numbers?

Even before Joel Anthony scored a team-high 22 points Wednesday for the Canadian national team against Dirk Nowitzki and the German national team, Heat President Pat Riley said the team had decided to guarantee Anthony's contract.

The Heat had until July 25 to decide whether to pay Anthony $711,517 for 2008-09 or allow him to become a free agent. He was signed last summer as an undrafted free agent. Anthony and the Canadian team open Olympic qualifying Monday in Greece, with that event running through July 20. ...

The Heat has not been among the teams to work out free-agent center Kwame Brown, with Riley saying, "I think he might be out of our [cap-space] range." ...

Although the Pacers are looking to dump point guard Jamaal Tinsley, the only Heat interest would come after a buyout from the Pacers, or if Indiana would be willing to take on Marcus Banks' contract in return.

This would be a horrible trade. Tinsley makes twice as much as Banks and his contract doesn't come off the books untill 2011. We need the money in 2010. I still think we need to go after one of the point guards in Memphis.

This wouldnt be a dumb trade for the Heat, but the Pacers wouldnt do it. Their trying to unload Tinsley because they already have T.J Ford and Jarrett Jack and Travis Diener. It would be pointless to trade for a point guard who hasnt proved himself anywhere. At least Tinsley has started and has been able to carry them to the playoffs. If the Pacers are going to trade Tinsley to us their going to want something other than a point guard.

I was just gonna bring up the point about Indy having 3 guards already. Indy shouldn't do it.

Tinsley is another injury prone player.

He will probably be out half the season again, so no thanks unless it is for very cheap.
