he will be a much more better player when the regular season begins and he will be more productive b/c 1 wade, marion and the other experienced players will help him during the games.2 wade and other players can create him easy baskets3 he will pass the ball a lot and he will be given the opportunity to score fg easily.

I would say thats a little generous...Defense is where Beasley needs the most improvement, and averaging 2 steals and 2 blocks per game is too much.
My guess would be something like this:

18.6pts, 9.4rbs, 2.5ast, .08st, 1.1blk, 44%Fg

16 or 15 ppg, 7 rpg, 2 apg, 1spg, .8bpg 20-30 mpg all depending on marion...if Marion isn't traded then i expect Beasley's stats to rise of course as moving into the number 2 scoring option for the heat. But unless the heat start scoring 110s and with a huge rotation of giving all these forwards Udonis, Dorell, JJ, Beasley, Marion time. i doubt that beasley will be averaging 20ppg though it would be nice to be proven wrong :D

i beleive the stats will be 17ppg 8 rpg 2apg 1spg 1 bpg even with marion there because marion is not a scorer. and he will be playin sf some times so he can post players like bruce bowen and other players to cause matchup promblems. i think that he will still be the second option offensivley because can marion will score 20 points all the time i dont think so

That's what I see him averaging too winning the ROY award with Rose avg. 13ppg 7 apg 3 rpg coming in a close 2nd. I think you guys should try moving Marion for a good c and give Beasley the bulk of the time so he can grow and become a star.

the reason we should move marion is not so beasley can become a star. the reason is so that we can free up space for freeagnet on 2010. beasley is gonna become the star no matter whos around him as long as he a starter and gets over 28mpg

He had whole defenses geared towards stopping him after the first game, with Wade/Marion around him that shouldn't be happening.

thats only one side of the arguement... the other side is that he isn't going to have 30 plays run for him with him taking over 20 shots a game...

haha... none of us have a clue. I just think SL showed that he wont have the rebounding impact that people on here think he will (9-10 rebs). I Expect about 7-7.5 I think... That was realy the main thing I was pointing out... I wans't trying to attack you. I was tryin to point the rebs thing to everyone...

daleja424 in terms of rebounds, in summer league Beasley only played between 23 and 28 minutes a game; he will play more minutes during the season. More Minutes = More Rebounds. No disrespect meant just statistics. In addition, in Brand's rookie year he averaged 20 and 10 and Beasley was a better scorer in college, a better rebounder in college, and they both measure 6'8". I think 20 and 10 is definitely in reach for B-Easy barring injury and foul trouble.

i think that he will be one of the greatest c in the league in a few years.hes a good reboundes, scorer, has a good inside presence and he can shoot and pass pretty well.and i also love nick calathes.this kid will be a terrific point guard!

He played on average 27 minutes a game... but his rookie year, barring trades, he is going to split time with Haslem at the 4 and mairon at the 3 so I don't actually think he will play more then 30-32 minutes a game anyways. Besides, rebounding in the NBA is a lot harder then in SL... People in the NBA are a lot more athletic and box out alot better (for the most part)...

you may be right and he may end up being a good rebounder...I just don't see it happening personally...

Theres no way beasley avg 8 rebs a game this year. Sorry heat fans. but a guy by the name of durant also avg 12 rebs a game in college. in his first year in the pros he avg 4 rebs a game. Big difference from SL in college.

i think beasley will get around 19 ppg 9 rpg 3 apg..I dont think with him Wade and Marion his stats will skyrocket. If it was just Wade and Beasley then i think they would put up numbers similar to A.I. and Melo together.

I think 7 rebs. is resonable considering he will have to reb. against Yao, TD, KG, Dwight, etc. It will be much harder for him. But I still think he gets 18 ppg 7 rpg.

Thats more or less what I am thinking... I think it's silly to expect an undersized PF is going to come in and average a double double... or anything close

Brand is an interior guy... Beasley isn't. Beasley, as far as he is concerned, is a guard in a forwards body. Beasley was also the only guy rebounding for his college team... In Miami he will have to fight with guys like Haslem and Marion who ARE ALREADY double digit rebound guys. There are only so many rebounds to go around...

Better than CP3s rookie numbers. I don't expect that much. Something like 10 ppg, 6 apg, 2 spg, 42%fg, 38%3pt is more realistic

And Beasley's numbers, I guess 18 ppg, 9 rpg, 1 bpg, 45%fg, 35% 3pt
