New Jersey Nets center - Nenad Krstic (213-C-83) is considering a return to Europe after 4 years in the NBA.
the 7'0 center has been playing in the nets since the 2004-2005 season.after a very good two seasons he extended his contract at the team but the last two years he suffred injuries and for now the nets didn't offer a new contract.the player has a qualifing offer at the team.but as said the nets didnt decide yet.
the player has stated that a return to Europe in in his minds as this alreted Israeli side - Maccabi Tel-Aviv are very keen in adding him to the team.Maccabi already sniffed around with the player but yet didn't materialized to an agreement

in response to the report, Maccabi Tel Aviv had said that they are looking into the possibility, but havent spoken to krstic directly

This is a bluff. Varejao & Pavlovic both said this in an effort to get bigger extensions from the Cavs last season. And look where they ended up... :rolleyes:

It's just the timing of everything. It's similar to why the Winnipeg Jets and Quebec Nordiques franchises relocated, falling value of currency. If Jets and Nordiques could've hung on for another 10 years or so, things might've been different.

by the way, Nenad already returned to Europe

he was a 16 and 7 player before his injury
