i think people keep getting confused by espn report... they never reported he is getting 6 mil a year... it says the warriors will have to offer more than the midlevel which is 6 mil a year..... that doesnt mean the offer was for 6... im hearing 5 yrs 50 mil from most ... and then on the radio 5 yrs 45 ... i think its that area... i could only dream we got him for 5 yrs at 6 mil per ...

no not really getting confused was watching sports center yesterday night after all the drama went down and they said he got signed for 6-7 mill for first year i remeber it because the dude said specfically he comes at a cheap price!! but i know from everwhere else im hearing 5yr 50 mil which isnt really cheap so i batted my eye to that report

if we assume that is an average of $9M a year, we were paying $7M for Pietrus and Barnes. So, the difference is not that big.

If you look at last year production:

Maggette 22.1 5.6 2.7 +19.19
Pietrus 7.2 3.7 0.7 +9.22
Barnes 6.7 4.4 1.9 +8.71
13.9 8.1 2.6 +17.93

We almost double the scoring but the rebounding is around 30% less and it cost us only $2M extra a year.

Maybe is not as bad a people are stating.

the thing about corey is that there are more to it than the stats...just like it was with MP. until we get to watch him play night in and night out, we won't know what corey is worth.

after what we've seen from MP, i wouldn't give him 4 years for 5mill like orlando did.
