I think we should sign him for our final PG spot. IMO he'll get the crowd involved. We all loved this guy, heart, hustle and more. I am pretty sure his knee is healthy, and I am sure he would take a vets minimum.

Any thoughts on him?

alvin williams was amazing. i was actually thinking about him the other day in relation to bargs. alvin really struggled his first few seasons until mark jackson signed in toronto as a free agent. playing a back up roll watching jackson play really developed alvin's game. hopefully the same will happen for bargs under oneal. i know most of the time these sorts of stories dont work out, but everyone in the raptors organization kept raving about bargs' basketball iq...so maybe there is hope.

All you have to do is watch Andrea for a handful of games to realize that the basketball IQ is not there.

he's probably washed out, but i can see him excelling in a "darrick martin" role. He's a guy that could be an assistant coach in a year or two.

how are his broadcasting skills? maybe he could replace chuck swirsky...

chuck's replacement, Matt Devlin, doesn't seem to have the same exciting personality as chuck... he seems kind of boring to me... maybe alvin has some skills...
