The Clips should be pissed for actually trading Brand for Baron Davis. Now that they have a lot of cap room, they can go after Monta. Anything offer above the $10M and the max (most likely $14-15M), would get them Monta.

The W's actually traded Baron for Maggette and cap space. if a big offer from another team comes to Monta. They may need to release Harrington for cap space in order to be under the cap to sgin him. The Baron Davis+Harrington for Maggette and Turiak doesnt seem like a great deal.

Lets secure Monta right away.

we do not need to be under cap to sign monte or biendrins. they are our restricted free agents so we can so them regardless of the cap. It would still be an interesting move by the clippers but it would not matter. we would match

Lets stop doing these monta is going to another team posts. It's a waste of time the W's can and will match any offer to monta and they are not going to sign and trade him. Stop with these stupid posts.

Ok 1st monta could verry well end up with another team... I don't think its gonna happen but it could. If a team came in and offered monta close to a max deal and the warriors matched use would be in cap hell for a little while.... use just signed corey for like 50 million and offered 15 million to turriof (waste of money) I hope the lakers don't match. And there's talk about baron comming back. Well pick 1 monta or davis cuzz there is no way use get them both!

Releasing Harrington won't relieve us of any money, we'd have to trade him for a trade exception. But no need for that, Monta isn't leaving plain and simple. We still have over 20 million to spend before we hit the luxury tax, so he shouldn't be hard to retain.
