I know it is too early to tell but, what do you think the Warrios' record will look like?

Also, playoffs?

I think:

34-48

Why:

Baron leaving the team means a SG now has to play PG as of right now. Pietrus, a good 6th man will sign with Orlando. And the west is just getting tougher.

Thoughts?

You obviously have little to no Warriors knowledge if you think Pietrus leaving hurts us. We likely won't make the playoffs, but 34-48 is absurd.

Beno, please get out of here if you have nothing to contribute to this Ws forum. All you ever do is suggest ridiculous trade ideas, or say that the Warriors will do terribly. We don't need it and I see it as obvious bait, which I'm currently falling for.

Our season still depends on the youngsters(I.E Wright), if we truly want to be a good, contending team.

Beno has the right to give his opinion. The only thing he got wrong was about Pietrus...and thats a mistake even GM's make.

If he thinks we'll be that bad...then it'll just be our job to point and laugh at him after we kick *** this season!

The thread is unnecessary though. But we should welcome all posters.

Guess I did react a bit to harshly, b/c he at least did try to back up his claim. He just obviously isn't a Warriors fan(he said Monta for two role players from the kings), has said some other bad things about the Warriors in the NBA and this forum, so when I saw this, I saw it mostly as bait to try and have us start an arguement and fight with him.

Plus he likes PS3, so I have no beef with him :D

Also, i have no problem with the Warriors. They are my second fav team. I watch them when the Kings aren't on :)

So...

PG
Ellis/Belinelli/Nelson
Maggette/Azubuike/Randolph
Jackson/Wright/Hendrix
Biedrins/Turiaf

Looks good for me..ideas for point guard are chauncey billups, shaun livingston, and sebastian telfair..with monta also playing some...TRADE HARRINGTON for a bad of dirt and we weill have the money to bring something!

telfair will never be a warrior, the guy is the type of player nelson will not even look at, can handle good, but no jump shot at all. 0% chance of being a warrior. why dont we try and bring redd in and put monte as pg with him at sg?

Lincoln Logs

^ Because we have so many players who can play SG now already! Plus, he's expensive.

We just signed Maggette...wake up Cali.

And DeMarcus Nelson doesn't play the point...he was a SG at Duke and will be a SG in the NBA. He doesn't have great ball control. He might not even make the team...

Also Randolph is not going to be starting at 4, if anything he will be the backup 3's, and Wright would start in front of him

i love harrington but if we trade him for hinrich we would have a badass lineup:

G Kirk Hinrich
G Monta Ellis
F Corey Maggette
F Stephen Jackson
C Andris Biedrins

i mean, c'man...that is awesome.

Beno7500
07-09-2008, 08:27 PM
1 Ellis
2 Jackson
3 Maggete
4 Harrington
5 Biedrins

Actually, that sounds like a good team

you're absolutely right, just as long as monta can evolve into an nba pg which many people are skeptical about. i think it'll eventually happen, i just don't know if it will be next year...
