NBA Finals Game 7, what scenario would you rather have?

Scenario #1
You are the Home Team and your team is down by 10 at the half

Scenario #2
You are the Road Team and your team is down by 5 with 12 minutes exactly to play. (basically the 4th qtr)

i think i'll go with scenario #1.
home team, more time to play... a 10 point half time lead is really nothing.

While 10 points does sound like a lot and 5 points is "nothing", the difference between the two is 5 points which again - is nothing. Being at home would be a great help. Imagine being down by 10 in game 7 AT HOME... AT HALF-TIME. The moment the game is about to be played, the crowd would go nuts

Scenario 2 because if youre down by 10 at half in your home chances are youre playing like crap and the other team is playing solid which will be hard to turn around in a game like that.

thats why i chose scenario 2.... what if you had all the momentum going into the fourth

I'll take the home situation over the road situation.

Having the home crowd behind you in a playoff game is huge. Then there's the fact you have a whole extra quarter to catch up after cooling down and getting a break. The extra 5 points plus more can definetely be made up in that extra quarter.

if im down 10 at the half, winning the 3rd quarter by 5 points is a good result.
im taking situation 2. i dont think homecourt is good for more than 5 points in the 2nd half. a 5 point deficit is really nothing.

I'd go scenario 1. You're home court will be a big help.

Unless you're the Knicks :p

Judging by the poll results, I'm sure we know which situation is better :)

Scenario one seems the best IMO.

Scenerio 1, specially with the fans we have in Philly.

Any team that goes into the Championship of ANY Philly sports team would be huge.
