Zach Randolph 6-9 260 lbs Age: 27
for
Kenyon Martin 6-9 240 lbs. Age: 31

So the Knicks want to get rid of Randolph and we want to get rid of Martin. Over the past 3 years Randolph has been more produvtice then Martin.
The only catch on the trade is that Randolph makes about half a million more a year. They each have 3 years remaining on there contracts. I say lets take the risk on a more productive player if were paying them pretty much the same. Randolph is still young and give us a real post who can play with his back to the basket which we need.

Zach Randolph $14,666,667 $16,000,000 $17,333,333
Kenyon Martin $14,431,818 $15,613,636 $16,545,454

06/07 68 46.7 10.1 23.6
07/08 69 45.9 10.3 17.6

Zach Randolph doesn't play a lick of defense.

Atleast Kenyon tries.

I'd keep Kenyon over him, for real.

**** Zach Randolph.

the only reason we would want randolph is for his rebounding and his ability to score in the post other than that he sux on defense but if we were set on defense and needed some offense i wouldnt mind...im skeptical about this

well if this falls through would you then consider Kirk for camby trade, now you would have a big man who can play down low.

No!

If we get rid of Camby, we'd have to rely on two players coming off of injury and no minutes! (Nene AND Steven Hunter)

No way!

If you include Tyrus Thomas, maybe. But as far as a point guard for a center? Don't even dream about it.

Yeah, I would.

Contrary to popular opinion, the Nuggets can be just s good defensively without Camby.

you all have camby to play defense..so they would be a good compliment. shot-blocker & jump shooter/back to the basket scorer.

Randolph is a locker room cancer. kmart showed moments of his old bad *** self towards the end of the season. Look for kmart to come back even stronger this season and have the best season of his career. Besides all us nuggets fans know we need kmart to guard the strong pf's of the league as camby is just too weak to guard them 1-1.

There are rumors that teams have inquiried about Zach Randolph and Walsh has turned them down.

This would be one of those inquiries that was turned down.

Got a source for that?

The ONLY place I've seen K-Mart's come up in trade rumors was in some doof's blog at bleacher report... but I have seen zero reports on him that can be traced back to credible sources. And I'm pretty sure if it was publicly known that the Nuggets had pitched K-Mart to New York, I'd have heard about it by now.

Can you hook us up with a link?

I agree.

We don't need a Jason Kidd.

We just need someone who can set him up correctly.

Anthony Carter isn't the man.

I doubt Chucky is, but we'll see.
