THIS IS MADE UP. IT IS JUST A SUGGESTION. IT IS NOT A RUMOR, I JUST HAPPEN TO LIVE WITH A BUNCH OF WARRIORS FANS BUMMING.

With the Baron of the Bay gone and Monta Ellis' move to point guard eminent, the Warriors desperately need someone at the two spot who can score points, and score them in bunches.

There is no way to replace Baron or what he has done for the organization overnight, the Warriors got what they deserved (nothing) and Baron got what he deserved (5-year $65 milli), but does anyone remember when the Warriors acquired Baron Davis? He was labeled with un-coachable, oft-injured, poor-shot selection, etc. However no one ever questioned his talent and potential to be not just be good (which he was with the Hornets, they made the playoffs every year he was there) but great.

Now the Warriors, coming off making the biggest mistake since _________________, can snag a potential star with the same issues in Denver's restricted free agent J.R. Smith (maybe minus the injury part but more so the other two). Smith, 22, seems poised to make the Kobe Bryant jump of 15 points per in 26 minutes per to 20 points per in 38 minutes per.

Last year Smith averaged 12 points in 19 minutes a game.

With starter minutes Smith could blossom. Transition three's and spectacular finishes attacking the basket fit the Warriors style. The Warriors could use a little instant offense...and maybe a little luck in signing the other J. Smith.

What do you Warriors fans think about J.R. Smith?

Maybe but we would have to chose either Azubuike or JR.

Actually Jimm3702 those clips made the playoffs in the 05 season..but as for JR Smith im a huge fan of his game..and think the warriors would be very smart to snatch him up! They need to start going forward since making the biggest mistake since drafting Dunleavy! Yea the kids a beast and needs to be looked at...
