i like the Nets to dominate in the next 5 years. they will be playoff bound barring injuries with harris, vince, yi, lopez and as soon as lebron gets free from the losing capital of the world ( championship wise ) he will be suiting up for the brooklyn Nets.

Sorry to say but Carter won't be anywhere near effective in 5 years let alone 3.

Trailblazers. Lakers are probably gonna be good too for the next 5-6 years.

The Lakers in the next 5 years or until Kobe retires. Then I would say the Blazers if Oden turns into what he is suppose to be. A wildcard would be the Hornets but they will need someone better at the 3 spot. Peja is just a pure shooter. They need someone like Artest or Maggette and they will be good.

wow i really didnt think james was gonna b ther but if it happens he has a young like yi and another like harris they will b contenders he did it wit the weak @$$ cavs he can do it 2 tha "brooklyn nets"

Dalionking

he has said many times that his favorite city is NY and loves brooklyn as well. Nets are moving there and he wants to win and the danny fairy cant put a good team around him

Hornets success will be short-lived unless their bench becomes formidable. Has Jannero Pargo resigned with the team? I heard he opted out of his contract.

Sixers suck.

All about the Raptors and the Lakers

Raptors- JUST BECAUSE the whole Country of Canada is behind them. They have the most active GM (BC) running the team and have the most potential out of the test. Watch out for the Raptors in the playoffs

Lakers- CAN YOU SAY ALL STAR CALIBER? BYNUM Who is only 19 with a young Gasol and good contract Odom. Also dont forget about KOBE BRYANT WHO IS THE BEST PLAYER IN THE PLANET

wow the saying sixers suck is a big lie

andre iguodala had 19 5 and 4 n his first season without iverson
andre miller got 17 and 6 which is better than any lakers pg
dalembert had 10 and 10 wich is great for a big man
and they made it to the playoffs without iverson their superstar. i think they are a growing team who will get better with the years to come

CubsBullsfan28

with the core portland has they will be a hell of a team in a few years, but if the bulls get the true post play they need i would watch out for them as well

Kings Faithful

The Lakers probably will, but they Lakers are always winning so i didn't vote for them. Portland has a chance, im not going to say 100% right now, because as it is its only potential and Oden hasn't even played a game in the NBA yet.

I beg to differ.. the only reason they made the playoffs because they are in the worst division in all of NBA. only person i got respect for is andre miller because he is consisten but AI is sooo overated. I mean look how he chocked sooooooooooo bad in the players and Dalembert just had one good year, but hes not a post presence at all... Who is their future player? Thaddeus Young?? HAHA

with the current rosters it has to be LA for the immediate future, i'll say 3-4 years. NO and Portland have great futures as well. The two most important players on the Blazers have to be Roy and Oden, as long as they have them they will be a very good team. Then with Aldridge, Batum, Bayless, Frye, Outlaw, etc... they will be downright scary.

Portland TrailBlazers might have put together a dynasty!!!! Seriously that team is sick. Bayless, Roy, Aldridge, Oden. All these guys can be All-stars too? And Portland will have ALOT of cap space after this year when a couple contracts come off the books. ANd they will have even more cap space next year when more contracts come off the books. And the worst part about it is that their "Fantastic Four" are all in rookie contracts, so they arent making much. Portland can be MAJOR players in 2010 free agency. They seriously have the ability to go after a a superstar to add to their team.

Cleveland Cavaliers. In a few years when there is no Kobe, no KG, no Duncan. There will be one and it will be Lebron James. Lebron James will win a championship. His team is flooded with expirin contracts. They can trade them for superstars. Seriously, Cavs are one player from a championship. They gave Boston Celtics the hardest fight in the playoffs.

Sonics This team will suck for another two years, but thats two years of Top lottery picks in a rough Western Conference. Plus this team is loaded with draft picks already. They have tons up until 2010. They already have a franchise player in the making and they are building around him. Kevin Durant will have a strong supporting cast by the end of the decade and Sonics should be ready to make a serious run. Seattle has SCARY cap space available too. After this coming season their cap floats at 40 million a year, which is enough to sign two big FA.

im a bulls fan, so i say the bulls.. but thats not the only reason, i think with rose noah and hopefully tt is expected to be making strides in the off season, not to mention Deng hopefully become what hes suppose to be. and whoever we get in 2010 (a bonafide star) then i say bulls. but just right next to them i say portland has a GREAT squad for the future. they will be pwning in the west i think. bulls in east.

They wont have capspace for 2010 though since Roy and Aldridge need to be resigned that year, its possible IF they sign the QO but the problem with that is they become UFA's in 2011.

It's obviously the Trailblazers. This team was built for the future, having a solid young core of Roy, Oden, Aldridge, Bayless, Outlaw, and Webster. Roy, Oden, Aldridge, and even Bayless have All-Star potential. This team should be a force to reckon with for years to come.

blazers look SO smart right now but if Alridge Roy Oden Blayless and Webster ALL live up to there potential and become ALL Stars then they might as well say goodbye to some of em cause they will all want big money...especially oden and blayless!they are gonna get sick of being 3rd or 4th option
