like in 2003, the nba made all of these tributes because it was michael jordan's final season. also, in the all star game, they had all these festivities and mariah carey singing for jordan. i am asking, who will be the next player that the NBA would make a tribute like jordan's? the players that come to my mind are Kobe and Shaq. what do you guys think?

Shaq for sure, he is a league favorite. Kobe, and when lebron retires....

Shaq is the only one who may get a retirement ceremony like Jordan. But as far as the tribute at All-Star weekend and the jersey being retired in other arenas, only MJ was worthy.

Everyone loves Shaq. I could see him getting a big ceremony. He is always publicized on All Star Weekend.
