If the W's get Brand and we move all the players one position down, we could have a fantastic team playing big ball instead of small ball

C Biedrens - defense leaving the scoring for Brand
PF Brand - defense - offense combo
SF Harrington - he would be bigger than any other SF, he will overpower them, he will be much better than an undersize PF
SG Ellis -
PG Jax - led him lead the team. he can deffend any PG, he would be bigger than any PG

this looks intriguing. what do you think?

If we get brand, we have no need for Al Harrington. We would have a log jam at the 4.....we should trade him and dial up a legit 1. (Trade him for Chauncy)

Lineup

PG Chauncy
SG Monte
SF Captain Jack
PF Brand
C Biedrins

Contender....solid defense down low, solid play making point who is strong and can deal with the point guards of the West. Monte gets to rock as the superstar 2 that he is.....I like this line-up better than last years by a mile!!!! Get it done Mullin!!!!!

yea ur on crack if you think SJ can play the 1. And no harrington is not that great as a sf, i mean artest, anthony, lebron, are much stronger than he is.

The problem with harrington is that he is way to skinny now, back in his pacers and hawk days he was much more bigger and stronger. Something he lost.

If we bring in Elton Brand, Brandan Wright is the backup 4 and we move Harrington for a backup PG and a draft pick, or Harrington and a draft pick for a starting PG.

We will either move him to a team looking to dump a PG (Pistons with Billups, Pacers with Tinsley, Bulls with Hinrich, etc...) or send him to a team looking to add big expiring contracts before the offseason of LeBron, Wade, etc...)

Maybe we could move him to Charlotte for Raymond Felton and someone.

Maybe we could move him to Memphis for Javaris Crittendon and someone.

We'll see.

PG Monta Ellis (re-signed)
SG Kelenna Azubuike (mid level)
SF Stephen Jackson
PF Al Harrington
C Andris Biedrins (re-signed)

PG C.J. Watson
SG Marco Bellinelli
SF Anthony Randolph
PF Brandan Wright
C Kosta Perovic

PF Richard Hendrix
Undrafted FA such as Demarcus Nelson

Obviously moving Al Harrington makes the most sense because he could bring us a backcourt mate for Monta.

We could go after Josh Smith, Elton Brand, Gilbert Arenas, etc... but the more realistic approach is to move Harrington, look to sign and trade Barnes or Pietrus with teams showing interest there, and looking for James Posey type players to fill in key roles at backup point and power forward.

^^minimal is probably the best way to go right now. really dont want to give out any bad contracts this off-season. i wonder what we can get for al harrington.
