Look at that squad.

Fisher, Kobe, Odom, Gasol, Bynum and then you got a great bench the best bench in the league.

The Lakers are the most stacked team in the league.

alot of people need to improve to have that tag placed on the Lakers

One thing i don't understand. A while back there was a thread about joining PSD because there was like 190 guests and only like 13 members. So all these people joined and now EVERYONE is giving them a hard time when they post! Rookies will be rookies. LAY OFF!

If the Spurs land Maggette, then they are the team to beat in the West. You can pretend that the Lakers are on top, but it wont be true.

PG Parker
SG Ginobilli
SF Maggette
PF Duncan
C Oberto

If you take out an aging Bowen(who will still come off the bench) and plug in a guy who is dropping 20 a game, the Spurs will be the team to beat. They made the West Finals last year and are about to get a 20 pt scorer for the MLE? Are you kidding me? This will be for them, what Gasol was for the Lakers. A steal. Laker fans better hope this doesnt happen.

So, adding Maggette instantly makes the Spurs the favorites, interesting take, we shall see.

Id like to have kwame back, i want nothing to do with him if hes getting major minutes but as a 4th big behind bynum/gasol/turiaf i think hed be a good fit because for as bad as he sucks offensivley hes a actully pretty good deffender.

I agree... I wouldn't mind Kwame Brown... I actually was one person who liked him on the Lakers - just as long as he's not logging in major minutes, maybe 3rd or 4th string...

he's not that good offensively, and he's just okay defensively, but he has something lakers lacked - toughness (physical toughness - he would cry if people boo him too much), and a big body to bang, and someone who would "send a message"..

...just as long as he doesn't play too much (nor does he get paid too much)
