I don't think it's fair to consider some of these "duos". Such as Pierce and Garnett, which have a trio with Ray Allen.

though, Pierce and Garnett are the two bigger players of the 3 in terms of allround talent and greater value to a team

I don't consider them a duo as well, Ray Allen was critical to their success, especially in the Finals.

Baron and Brand doesnt even exist yet... if you didnt notice brand got a MAX deal from golden state... i think he will take that unless the clips give him a better deal

i lik the thought of wade and marion bcause they r just exploding wit talent but parker and duncan r always putting up amazing stats. if one doesnt do so well the other one is showing out they just arent as flashy as everyone else and i think tony parker is underrated

Iverson and Melo do their thing.. It's just the rest of the team that doesn't do a damn thing...

People fail to realize that we keep up or we are beating the top teams in the league... Once our bench gets in its over... Most of the LA Laker games the bench outscored our bench by about 40 or 50 more points...

I think the Melo and AI thing is clicking, its just the rest of the team is never involved...

It clicked throughout the whole season, hell they both are averaging about 26 pts a game! The rest of the team... Ehhhh not so good.

We sucked *** in the playoffs though.

God.

I like the Paul and West combo.

I really like the Williams/Boozer duo and Yao/TMac duo (though that one hasn't exactly lived up to the hype).

As Crunchy already pointed out, they choked in the playoffs, but in terms of overall production it's Melo and AI. So I voted for them, but that's only one way to measure this.

I don't think it's them who play the best together, which is Denver's biggest problem, probably. I'd like to choose CP and West, but then who wouldn't Paul play great with? That's what he does. Same with Deron. "The other guy" on their team + them is gonna be a great duo no matter what.

No JJ/Josh Smith...
But really DWill and Boozer have to be the best combo in the league right now. The CP3 and West combo isnt bad either.

You do know Mello played like trash. If you don't think so go look up his playoff stats and post them.

No Wade and Beasley on the poll? I'd only vote for them

I wasn't talking about his playoff performances, ******.

I was talking about his reg season play.

Not so trashy to me. Him or AI.

Now playoff, yeah. I mentioned that already if you can use the two things above your nose.

BTW Beasley and Wade fan.. The reason why that option isn't up there is because we haven't seen results... I can already tell you have the potential in being a bandwagon kind of guy... Already wanting to see Beasley and Wade on a poll and they haven't spent a second in regulation ball.

Bosh and O'neil? Baron and Brand - watta?! that one isn't even sure duo...

Voted for Nash and Amare as they are in my fav team, also they both play in all star caliber (maybe even MVP)...

OF course duos like Priece and KG, MElo and AI are worth being named as the best too...

kobe and gasol - since lakers went like 24-5 in the reg. season with gasol. and had the best playoff record in the playoffs(percentage wise) 14-7. celtics went 16-10.. but im talking about percent.. so gasol and kobe is a pretty sick duo

Kobe and Gasol played well together from the very beginning. I choose them just cause i saw them play already.

Derrick Rose and Tyrus Thomas in a year or two.

Thers like 5 trios on there you just put 2 of the 3, and one (Baron and Brand) probably wont happen since Warriors offered him a bigger contract. But I would take Yao Ming and Tracy McGrady. You put assume they are healthy and that is the only thing stopping them.

D-Will and Boozer is a great duo on the rise. I like the T-Mac and Yao duo even though they haven't lived up to expectations. CP3 and West isn't really a duo, Chandler and Peja are huge parts of that team. I'll have to say Garnett and Pierce make the best duo in the league right now IMO.

If you are gonna say Garnett/Pierce shouldnt count because they have Allen then Duncan/Parker shouldnt count because they have Manu and Kobe/Gasol shouldnt count because they have Lamar Odom.

Looking at "duos" more unconventionally, here are the top +/- player pairs in each team (http://82games.com/0708/ppairs0708.htm), ordered by their score. This turns up some interesting results. It does confirm Pierce/KG as the "top duo", but it also points to Kobe-Odom, CP-Peja, Nash-Bell and AI-Najera as being those teams' top player pairs, which a lot of people will dispute, I'm sure. Still, kind of interesting.

No one is going to be surprised if Bynum has a good year next year...because Laker fans remind us of how amazing he will be on a 24/7 basis. It's like they're trying to brain wash us...

I voted for Pierce and KG. They wont the title, therefore, they are the best. Pierce outplayed Kobe, and KG out played Pau. Pretty obvious IMO.
