Thats a good one. I think its actually a real possibility. But still a good bold prediction.

The spurs win 50 games

When was the last time they didnt? or at least come very close? I don't know, but winning 50 games isn't a bold prediction for the Spurs.

Brian Scalabrini will score 10 points on the year

Mine might be too bold...and I'm not sure i believe them myself...

The Clippers will go farther in the playoffs than the Lakers.

Once again, the Spurs in an odd year will win the Championship, defeating the Pistons.

OJ Mayo is the rookie of the year.

Melo is traded mid season.

There are my TEN nostradamus picks for next year.

Anyone can quote me on them

1 Either Gay or Mayo will be "on the block" by february after quarreling for the amount of touches or because Gay says he is not renweing his contract.

2 Marc Gasol will be the best rookie, but wont be awarded the ROY.

3 Beasley will take the ROY.

4 Rudy Fernandez will be asking to eb back to europe or be traded after he gets fed up of Mcmillan playing him for 5 seconds a game,

5 Dirk Nowitzky will ask for a trade.

6 Lakers wil win it all.

7 Lakers will trade Odom.

8 Knicks get Lebron in next years draft day.

9 Indiana is going to be in the Playoffs.

10 OKC wil choose HORRIBLE colors and a ***** Name.

Wow....there are some real Bold predictions here.

I think the boldest is the Wolves winning 40 games in the West! Wow...that would be a mega shocker.....I think them winning 30 games would be bold enough. Why not say the G's and Wolves will meet in the Western Finals?

Kings making the playoffs.....ahhhh...nope.....the biggest news coming out of Sactown will be the ongoing soap opera that is Ron Artest.

The Bucks making the 5th seed in the East is bold....I think they have a chance at the playoffs but they are still likely to make some moves.

Rapthug
07-03-2008, 08:13 AM
Okafor a break out season.....that is mega bold and totally never happening. He'll sign a good long term deal where he'll be over paid and miss 1/3 of the season with various injuries.

I like the Suns under .500 prediction. I really think they are going to suck and go a big decline. Way too old....all passed their prime.

Timberwolves win 40 games (10th in the West)

Wow that's a strech....They got two nice big men...Jefferson and Love and few good young pieces that's coming into their own....but without a solid point gaurd, to run that young squad......they won't make playoffs....Im not a fan of scoreing pointgaurds.....If you're a pass first point gaurd but still put up good pionts....then you got something. (Nash , calderon , paul)
But that young team is going to have to really play as a team....and i don't see that happening without point leadership.
