What do you guys think of Thaddeus Young? I am a GT fan and loved watching him play at Tech. I thought he could develop into an All-star. He was the second youngest player in the NBA and has amazing potential.

I love Thad city. he was such an integral part of our team last year with his efficient play. i think he will be very good. as long as iguodala shares the wealth and doesnt think hes a superstar, Thads potential is basically limitless. he is already a good defender, a solid mid range shooter, and has a consistent little hook shot. as his role on the team expands, so will his game. hopefully he can get a 3 point shot and improve his ballhandling. he rocks. definite all star potential and could end up being the 3rd best player in the 07 draft.

lets hope it isnt wasted by making an impatient signing as a result of not being able to get Brand.

i predict him to average 14 points 6 rebs 3 assists and 1 steal in his sophomore... like previously stated sky is the limit

He wasn't a Mcdonalds All-American, and Jordan Classic MVP winner for nothing, the kid can ball. He showed some flashes of nba star potential last yr. I know he can do so much more. He has a very nice jumper, he just need to shoot more, and he can easlily get to the basket, and it fools people because he is left-handed. people are going to know his name real soon

Wouldnt trade him for half the all-stars in the league

thats a pretty safe bet, given his progression through the year. 2 things... I'm slightly afraid of a sophomore slump.. but trust he'll continue to excel, and secondly, confidence.. he needs it. he needs to know he can be a top guy on a team.. he seems timid and afraid to try to take over, or step into the lime lite.

Really glad you guys like him. He was a great player at GT and hopefully is a future All-Star for the 76ers.

Have you ever seen an interview? If he lacked anything, it surely wasn't confidence. I've heard him refer to himself as "a great scorer" on more then one occasion. 4.0+ student.

He's just a hatchling now. Very soon he'll be a beast.

As for being timid, he was just paying his dues and showing respect to the vets.

If he doesn't average 35 pts, 10 reb, 4 ast, 2 steals and 1 blk in the summer league, I'll be highly disappointed. No, seriously. I'll be pissed!

that was bothering me too..... but about young... he is an amazing player who will only get better, he needs to put on some lbs, and start to learn how to use his right hand tho... but other then that he is fine

true about how young he is but he won't be near lebron calliber or anyone else who was as young as him and is an allstar now.

Thad barely started last year and he did amazing. He has so much potential. No he's not gunna be a Lebron, but he will be an All-Star in the next 2/3 years.

What I like about Thad the most is that he is not cocky. He plays a sound game without acting like a jerkoff, and to me that is something that almost every NBA player lacks these days.
