Wondering who everyone thinks are the top 5 best shooters in the league today... better yet, the top 5 clutch shooters in todays game. Who would you like to have shoot the ball trailing by 2 with 2 seconds to go, having a shot to either win or take the game to OT?

1. Arenas
2. Bryant
3. Nash

If the Game was on the line. i would give it to D-will. i cant think of how many times. i seen him. hit a 3pt. at the end of the game to either win it or put it into OT. so many times he did that last season. so D-will for my team.

Considering Kapono has led the league in 3pt% that last two seasons and is the alltime leader in 3pT% over his career, he has to be the number 1 guy. Not to mention back to back 3pt Champ winner. KAPONO number 1!

I don't like how you changed this from pure shooters to clutch shooters, so I'm going to just rank long ranged shooting in general:

Jason Kapono
Ray Allen
Kyle Korver
Peja Stojakovic (sp*)
Steve Nash
Mike Miller
Ben Gordon
J.R. Smith
Gilbert Arenas

I'm kinda eh on some of the later ones but the first 5 I feel pretty good about

okay i have beef with this topic haha, when you say the best shooters I'd pick ( No particular order)

Redd
Allen
Sasha
Nash
Kapono

Along with Peja, James Jones, Anthony Parker

HANDS DOWN..
Rip Hamilton has the best mid range jumper in the game, he strokes it..hes also a very good three point shooter but if i NEEDED a 3 I would go to the guys above before him.

Then you ask the best clutch shooters? Its a completely different list.
(Down by 2, 2 seconds to go?) Again no particular order..

Kobe
Lebron
Pierce
Mr. Big Shot Chauncey Billups
Melo (recently was 11 for 17 in game winning opportunities..24 seconds or less left in the game, team with the ball is either tied or down by 1 to 2 points. )

Sorry to write a novel haha

Kyle Korver and Jason Kapono are the best " shooters " in the league....

Anyone who actually watches basketball would know that....

Stop throwing out all the money names.... They can't shoot unless it's for volume... They all have Iverson syndrome...

The only one two that come close are Nash and Allen ( he's a stretch at this point )...

If you had someone that could shoot with the likes of Korver or Kapono with the moves of Kobe or LeBron then they would be better than Joprdan...

Everyone keeps throwing out Pejas name and I don't understand why... He hasn't been a decent shooter since he left Sac town...

Ray Allen is the best shooter in the NBA period, no matter where he stand, where he catches it, when he catches it. Guys like Korver and Kapano need a space to throw up there shots. Hell Kapano doesen't even shoot a 3 unless hes got 2 seconds to set his feet.

i know i missed kapono, its just that hes not that clutch. as someone already said, i takes him more than 2 seconds for him to take his usual 3 pointer. He doesnt usually win games, he stretches the lead. kapono wasnt put in those kinds of situations

Your making a double standard, You got shoot to score and nash and ray allen also drive's to the basket.....Kobe,kapono,redd,peja,and allen all shoot 45% for there career's now nash and wade have a 48% fg pct. BUT both drives to the basket and shoot within the 3point line. Now if you want to get technical nash shoot's a 43% career from 3's
