Looks like the Mavs are taking the chance on him developing. They have wings he can develope behind. So we move on.....

 (sarcasm intended)

Seriously, though, I think he could at least be a decent bench player if he worked hard enough, but the kid's gotta grow up. I wish him well, but I don't see his career amounting to much.

i've never been big on the guy, but i have a bad feeling that now he'll finally start developing, and will be an allstar talent.........just because of our bad luck.........

Outside of Richard Jefferson and Rudy Gay, how have we had bad luck with that kind of situation?

You suck and Gerald Green sucks. I'm glad there won't be any more posts about him in HOUSTON forums.

If there's a good example of why the NBA/NCAA one year in college rule makes sense, it's Gerald Green. The kid is crazy athletic, but never truly learned how to play the game. He wasn't used to the team game and didn't know how to be coached. Can't blame Houston for dropping him.

Yeah, but we've also gotten lucky in some cases.... look at Scola. All teams have good and bad luck trading young talent.

Oh my bad, I didn't know he only played in games. I assumed he also practiced with the team and had plenty of chances to show what he had to offer. How dumb of me to think that he didn't get enough time to show what his 'true' game.
