If any big men are brought in it will be Loren Woods and/or Deke.

Hes an upgraded version of Hayes, more talent but less drive. I dont know who Id rather have at this point

I agree. Maybe he'd play well with Yao and our big's coaches! Would rather have him than Hayes right about now. Need more size!

think he'd sign for that? from 11 too 1.1? but no one would ever sign this dude for 11 mil atm unless the teams crazy :|

Well, I cant see him getting any MLE deals so if he wants a new big contract he would sign 1 year at vets min. and prove himself or otherwise he will be just another Michael Olawokandi. Number 1 pick that was a bust.

i'd sign him for 1.1 mil the dude can come of bench i'd give him 15-20 mins 5 points 8 rebounds. with a real back up C yao can rest.

as a lakers fan who struggled with kwame for a while you guys would basically be getting a guy who can play some pretty decent pesky post defense but nothing else. he cant score, rebound, block shots, hit fts, catche the ball, pass, or play smart basketball. if thats what you guys need then i guess you should go for it but you will need to turn your head away at times.

if tmac can make chuck hayes look so good who has no offensive game besides layups under the basket, kwame would be pretty good. tmac can lob oup alley oops or find him down low. he can be another versoin of kelvin cato at worse. cato and francis had alley oops almost every game.

If we dont end up re-signing Landry then I wouldnt mind us getting Kwame for 2 mil.

alley oops arent kwame's thing. (nothing really is) his hands are too small to catch the ball, let alone dunk it while in the air.

Brown is a decent back-up. Good defensively. He has given Duncan fits in the past.

I'd really like Kwame as a serious backup for Yao, but he expects to make anything more than 3-4 million, he's overestimating his value. I think he should at least be considered, but I'd MUCH rather have guys like Posey and Barry, who have finals experience and can hit open jump shots from anywhere on the floor.

Kwame sucks!!!! TMac94 no disrespect, but what is your affinity with crappy players? First it was Gerald Green, now Kwame Brown. Who's next Michael Olawakandi? Maybe Marco Jaric. I just don't understand we have Loren Woods who could develop into pretty good player, he's already better than Kwame.

woods is gonna devolp in something in his 30s was 46th pick and has never avarged more then 5 rebounds in 6 seasons or so. kwame brown is 26 and was number one pick, a couple of season ago he avarged 10pts and 7 rbs, he has a career avarge of 7 pts and 5rbs, give him a chance maybe he can devolp i mean he still has a little promise doesnt he?

I think Loren Woods has more potential than KB so we should keep Woods
