"What’s it all mean?

Not much that hasn't been said, given that we all expected it forever.

It does, as we’ve mentioned, oh, about a billion times over the last five or six days, take the Raptors out of any significant role in the rest of free agency.

So that means, given the tax concerns and the current payroll that all those questions about Mickeal Pietrus, Bostjan Nachbar, Ron Artest, Chris Duhon, Corey Maggette are answered easily:

No. No. No. Not going to happen. Isn’t possible. Put it out of your mind."

from http://thestar.blogs.com/raptors/ doug smiths blog.

Its basically what ive been saying for a while, yet people continue to post ridiculously unrealistic offseason trades. Its not that they are literally impossibile just really far fetched. I dont think we will use the mle...but im not sure.

We still need a SF that could score, play D, get to the line, etc. to be a contender. Definitely better than last year's roster though if JO stays healthy.

get Ryan Gomes..hes the missing piece..we need a sf that can score and rebound..but we don't want him to think hes the #1 option on the floor..we got bosh, o'neal, calderon..with another 20pt scorer..we are going to lose production from either 3 because your not going to get 100 field goals each game so everyone is happy with enough touches.

Even though the roster looks set it is very early and BC always finds a way to bring in talent. We may not be done!
