It seems like this is turning out to be a big free agency market this year. With that in mind, I was wondering, what teams are under the cap and can offer big contracts?

Sixer have bank, Grizzlies, Clippers have some now that Maggs and Brand opted out, probably the Warriors too.

Looks like the Clips are going to make a hard run at Baron. Imagine if they sign him, and they are able to get Brand back as well somehow..

Memphis has 17 million to spend
Golden State has 28 million (Ellis/Biedrins/maybe Baron David re-sign)
LA Clippers has 29 million (Brand could resign)
Philadelphia has 24 million (Iguodala resign/Williams resign; Around 11 million after)
Washington had 17 million (Jamison resigned; Arenas resigned; Will be over the cap)
Atlanta has 8 million (Going to resign Childress/Smith; Will be over the cap)
New Jersey has 8 million (Probably going to resign Krstic; Around 5 million after)
Charlotte has 13 million (Going to resign Okafor; Around the cap)
Chicago has 10 million (Probably going to resign Deng/Gordon; Most likely will be over the cap)

Correction:

76ers are going to offer around 12m/year for Josh Smith. Atlanta can't match that and the 76ers will get em'

I want myself to get all the Playboy girls from the last five years.. That is more likely than Lakers getting Davis and Maggette.

Wow nice. Philly will have a sick defensive frontcourt.

Josh Smith does not deserve 12 mill per year...

Correction! The Grizz have about 15 mil to spend they are pg heavy now. So they will be looking big if looking at all. Philly is the only one with alot of money and looking to get Josh Smith and resign Igoudala, and they figure to push for Elton Brand. LA fans (clippers, and Lakers) You can not be huge players in FA unless you sign and trade. Clips only have about 9 mill to spend, and if Baron wouldn't stay in GS for 10-11 a year, he's not going to play for a Brand and Maggette less clippers for 9. And the Lakers you are already over the cap paying luxury tax. So you can only swing a sign and trade, or resign Vujacic and Turiaf. And after the finals noone is trading fo anyone on that team not named Kobe Bryant.
