Josh Smith Has To Leave Atlanta Now He Has No Other Teamates That Can Help Him Block And Defend The Basketball In The Paint I Guess Al Horford Can But I Think Josh Smith Must Decide To Leave Atl Hes Gonna Waste Time In A Orginization With Just Losing Even Though He Has That Future Ahead Of Him Get Him To Another Team Where They Need Defence And Get Him To A Playoff Team Who Needs Defence Maybe Josh Smith To Phoenix??

Someone please lock this thread. He must be watchin replays of the hawks from 2005? The hawks (if they make the right moves) will be in the top 5 teams in the East.

Well he is a Restricted Free Agent, so really he couldnt even leave if he wanted to. Not this year at least.

I bet Atlanta would love it if he signed for the MLE with another team... then they would just match it and save $20M+ over the next three years.

sixers are reportedly going to offer a deal that is frontloaded and starts around 11 mil so keep dreaming about that MLE haha

Yeah. Smith is worth more than the MLE. He's not a vet either, so he's not at the point where he'll take less money to play somewhere he wants to play. He either stays in Atlanta, or goes to a team like Philly, who can offer MORE than the MLE.
