I'd give him 10 mil per year. I think that's the min he'd accept. He's willing to take a paycut but doesn't mean he'll play for free

no the min he will accept is like 16 mil... he will probably be looking for 20+ million from the clipps or anyother team...

ESPN just reported that Brand is looking for a 4 year deal worth 60 million...So 15 million per year. They also said that the Clippers were prepared to offer him that. Dreams of him coming to Miami are fading...

I don't. I just think 15 mil per year is a little too much. Remember we had offered Shaq 5/100 and 2 years later he became garbage. I just I don't want to take another risk

Yeah, But brand is not a fat ***** like shaq and brand only has had one season with a bad injury his career has avg 20 and 10!

The comparison to us getting Shaq is not a good one. The Diesel came to us with a rusty frame and a flat tire at the age of 32. Brand is only 29, in the prime of his career, and his body has not taken nearly the pounding.

A very good point...Well noted.
15 mil is completey fair,(especially since this is the last big deal Brand will get in his NBA career) however I wish he'd knock that down to like 13 or 14 mil to come here...Wich would help us in addressing some other needs, such as depth and perimeter shooting.

I think we can get by with chalmers or just getting an ok shooter or pg with line up like this

Chalmers/Bank's? Or Aroyyo
Wade/Cook/Davis?
Beasley/Wright
Brand/Haslem/Beasley
Diop?/ZO
