there have been a lot of rumors flying around the internet about NBA players going to Greece, Spain, and even Israel... which of the above rumors is most likely to happen this offseason?

I don't see Brezec getting a good contract offer so I think he is the most likely.

Hermman is A greek god... He would be a perfect fit in the greek league :D

Either Brezec or Perovic imo. I can see Hermann or even Delfino as well.

Kosta Perovic IMO.

Herrmann won't, he is the Greek God of Scoring. Someone will sign him.

Who runs this team? How stupid are they? What makes them think they have a chance to get some of these guys?

they have already made a couple of acquisitions no one thought theyd make, even though its not as big as trying to get these guys

they think that since the Spanish teams were able to lure the Spaniards away from their NBA teams, so it can happen with anyone

But it is still stupid. Peja is a starter on a NBA playoff team and is getting paid 40 mil over the next three seasons. It is stupid to think you can lure him away. If we were talking about NBA free agents then that is one thing. But guys under contract, that is a whole other thing.

I see what you mean, some would say that you cant blame a team for trying... but that only applies to players who might not be starters, or players that are known to be upset with their situation

since I havent found anything what so ever on this, I'm going to have to assume it was completely made up

but I have another rumor somewhat less absurd than this.. when I find a source (Not in Hebrew), I'll post it.

names are flowing around for the wanted acquisitions list for Maccabi Tel Aviv. it doesnt include prestige players such as Peja Stojakovic or Luis Scola, so it makes them somewhat more believable

Maccabi are not so actively pursuing Josh Powell (LAC), Melvin Ely (NO), Nenad Krstic (NJ)

I cant remember the other names, and Krstic isnt going to Tel Aviv
