ESPN's John Clayton expects free agent Junior Seau to re-sign with the Patriots before the start of training camp.

Clayton points out that Seau might've added a sixth potential 2013 first-ballot Hall of Famer to a list including Brett Favre, Michael Strahan, Larry Allen, Jon Ogden, and Warren Sapp if he planned to retire. Only five modern day players can be voted in at a time. And that's before considering Steve McNair or Bryant Young, although we wouldn't expect either of them to get in.

I wouldn't mind seeing him come back for one last hoorah! Great leader, good veteran presence, still able to make plays, I'm all for it! One more time Junior!

I would like him back. He could be a good player to rotate in, as well as mentor the young LBs.

Also, that is a stacked 2013 class (assuming Favre is actually going to stay retired).

He still has some gas in his tank and is a strong presence as a leader in the clubhouse. I think he would be welcomed back by most all.

That is gonna be great for our young LB's especially to teach them like mayo and our draft picks great to have them.

I'm all for it. He plays with a lot more heart and intensity than some 3rd year guys. Hard to believe his rookie season was 1990. That trumps Favre by a year.

I don't think its 100%. They may want to check some things first (other younger more viable FA's). Then decide.
