Sort of an All-Star team including both leagues.

C. McCann $966,666
1B. Berkman $14,500,000
2B. Utley $7,785,714
3B. Jones $12,333,333
SS. Ramirez $439,000
OF. McClouth $425,000
OF. Hamilton $396,830
OF. Quentin $400,000
DH. Uggla $417,000

I'm going on stats only meaning that the Al is only superior to the NL in the outfield.

The total salary of the hitters is just 37,663,543.

The most deserving starters are
1. Volquez $392,500
2. Webb $5,500,000
3. Lee $4,000,000
4. Halladay $10,000,000
5. Santana* $420,000

* Toss-up between Santana and Marcum I'll give it to Santana because Halladay is already in there.

The starters add up to $20,312,500
which is a total of $57,986,043

Now relievers
MR Wagner $10,500,000
MR Marmol $430,000
MR Papelbon $775,000
MR Lidge $6,350,000
MR Soria $426,500
SU Wood $4,200,000
CL Rivera $15,000,000(holy ****)
The relievers come to $37,681,500
A total so far of $95,667,543

Now the bench(4 players)
Kinsler $700,000
Pujols $13,870,949
Gonzalez $875,000
Bradley $5,250,000
Bench total is $20,695,949

Total salary= $116,363,492

A salary which a total of nine teams in baseball can afford.(**** the braves were tenth)

I just wasted about an hour but I thought it was interesting stuff to know.

Doesn't have to be an actual DH just the next best hitter.

Yeah, their seasons aren't even comparable. Stop being a homer.

Not this year, no.

I would give it to Marcum over Lincecum anyways, plus I'd have to change all the totals if I did. Lincecum did get consideration though,, I promise. He would be number 6.

ugafan

Not this year, no.

Career would be closer than you think. McCann has MUCH more power and has almost 20 more homers in 400 less ABs. Mauer has almost 20 point sin AVG. But McCann takes OPS. I would call it a toss-up.

Hate to say it, but I'd have to put Lincecum in that rotation. Don't know who I'd bump, but the kid has been absolutely lights out this season. I heard a stat from a buddy of mine who's a Giant fan (not sure how reliable the stat is), but he claimed that every one of Tim's starts this season has been a quality start. If that is the case, then damn.

Honstly the fifth spot could go to either Lincecum, Santana or Marcum. I'm not changing it because I'd have to change all of the totals.

Check the page- he hasn't allowed more than 3 earned in a single start and he hasn't pitched fewer than 6 innings, so as far as I understand, every start has been a quality one.

There was actually one instance where he didn't have a QS. However, it's because he came out of relief, in LA :p

I did this at three in the morning I was tired as hell. Give me a break for real, and I have heard of Lincecum. He has a higher WHIP than Marcum and Santana. Yes he may be deserving but at ****ing 3 in the morning Barry Zito may be deserving. So how about you stop being an ******* because lat time I checked your team, even with Lincecum, is 7 games back in one of the worst divisions in baseball. So please, get off my back.

Edison for sure has been the best pitcher thus far into the year. I actually have Tiny Tim, Webb, and Lee on a fantasy team. TimLin is my favorite pitcher and I think his 8-1 record and sub-2.50 era is exceptional on a Giants team which seems usually has trouble scoring more than the opposition. But when they are backing up tim they seem to really get energized, Lincecum is the man hands down

Whoa Whoa Whoa I was criticizing your choices not your team. Its a rough couple years in the Bay Area but the giants already have the pitching of a playoff team. A couple of their young guys progress and a free agent they are 2 years away from playoffs. (THIS IS WHERE I WOULD CRITICIZE YOUR TEAM, BUT I DONT REALLY CARE)

Hey Barry don't read too much into this. Hank was probably upset because his team was in the middle of getting swept at home in Hotlanta. :horse:

Thats a joke K-ROD has 36 saves before the allstar break with 3 games left to play and has only blown 3 saves he by far should be the closer over Rivera

I'm pretty sure Lidge hasn't blown any saves, and has better numbers all around the board, so I'd take him over K-Rod.

People like me? I thought it was a relatively new thread. You don't have to get angry at every thing. You do nothing on here but bash the Giants, and Giants fans.

And when you say your going to "roast" someone, you sound like your 12.
