Royals Sign Horacio Ramirez

Horacio Ramirez has finally hooked on with a team. The Royals signed him to a minor league deal and sent him to extended spring training.

Ramirez, 28, had a run as a mildly useful if oft-injured groundball pitcher before the infamous trade to Seattle for Rafael Soriano.

Ugh.

He's awful. But hey, a team like the Royals are known to take on guys like this. Maybe he can return, pitch half decent, and bring the Royals a decent return at the Deadline.

But I'll believe it when I see it.

Good luck with him, hopefully for you Royals fans he pitches better with the Royals then he did with the Mariners.

I hope he can bounce back, when 100% healthy he's effective, not dominant but effective.
