Where's Oden? Or are we assuming he would go #1?

If I was a team that wanted to get that guy to build around I would deffinitely select rose. If your assuming your favorite team got the first round pick I would deffinitely pick Durant #1 for the Nets and that's who I voted for.

I'd pick either Beasley or Durant. Both are more sure-things than Rose. Rose has the potential to be a bigger productive player, but its not as certain as Beasley and Durant's production.

We know that Beasley and Durant will be 20ppg scorers, and will also do more for their team.

Rose didnt even have that impressive of stats at Memphis, and only thing that is getting him hyped up is his potential, and I'd rather have more security than potential if I'm drafting #1.

Granted, I'm not suggesting that Rose isnt good or wont be a great player. I think he'll be very good, maybe even a top PG in the NBA some day, but its way too early to evaluate that.

Oh yeah because Rose has definitely proved a lot in the NBA.
I'll take Durant over both of them because he has proven he can play in the NBA. Rose can't shoot, and Beasley is trapped between a SF and PF.

Beasly and Rose have not proved anything but that Beasly can dominate a Summer league Game. The Same Summer League that Made 2nd round pick Arron Grey look like an allstar. Yes, Durrant has proved that he can score. But to me I would Take Beasly over Durrant. He has the Athetism of Durrant and a solid Post game. All I ever see durant do is shoot 3s. He reminds me of a 6"10 Black Kirk Hinrich. As For Beasly and Rose, Like I said. We have only seen them play in Summer League.

PS. I dont care what Beasly did back when he was in College. Durrant grabed 10 rebounds a game in Texas and he was terible on the Boards this year. He is 6"10 for Crying out loud. Kirk Hinrich almost grabs as many rebounds per game.

So I would probably take Beasly or Rose. Depending on how they produce 2-3 years from now

i chose beasley but didnt they switch durant to playing the 2 or 3 because he's too weak for anything else?
anyway, I chose beasley because he's safer than rose IMO and I wasnt impressed w durant at all really. I mean anyone in the league can score given the ops. He's weak, and has a lot of growing to do and needs to develope leaps and bounds before he becomes on an elite level. then again, i could just be durant uneducated
