View Full Version : Who is the worst NBA player in the league?

flyguy

I think the worst NBA player in the league right now is Clarence Weatherspoon. He is 6'4'' 300 pounds with absolutely no offense. He is too fat and slow to guard anybody and he's to short to get a rebound. The guy is absolutely horrible. I can't think of one positive thing that this guy can do except use up his 6 fouls. The worst part is he's going to make 6 million this season. Who do you guys think is the worst player in the NBA right now?

Brent Price if he's still in the league. If not his mirror image is Moochie Norris. Moochie somehow found a soft spot in Rudy T's heart and got a 4 or 5 year contract paying 5m per year. Moochie is braindead, he doesn't have an athletic fiber in his 5'10 230lb body, he can't pass, can't shoot, and barely can dribble without turning over the ball. In other words he's totally useless and averages about 1 minute per every 15 games or so and makes 5 million a year in the process. At one time 'Spoon was a solid player. The same can't be said about Mooch. Realistically, Moochie isn't talented enough to be a 3rd string PG in the development league. Rudy T must be a bleeding heart liberal or something.

How about the guy called Yuta Tabuse from the Suns? Ever heard of him? He stands 5 feet and 9 inches vertically above the ground and carries 165 pounds of body mass. He played 4 games in an entire season and averaged 1.8 points on a astonishing 16.7 percent shooting percentage. He managed to grab 1 rebound per game but failed to dash out 1 assist as a point guard. Just to make him more impressive he wasn't drafted but instead, signed as a free agent from a japanese league and became the first player from japan to enter the NBA. Keep in mind everyone, he's a hero in Japan for his stimulus NBA performance. The only upside to him? He's a rookie

Yuta got cut from the Suns, that is why he only played a few games. I think he was only on a 10 day contract or maybe the Suns bought out his contract. Either way, no more NBA for that fellow. Suns don't have Paul SHirly anymore. Suns didn't want to pay him money just to make blogs.

Primoz Brezec, a 7'1 center from Charlotte. Being 7'1 is his ONLY upside. He cant block any shots, not even Earl Boykin's shots. He cant score for a hoot. averages 1 rebound a game for a CENTER. thats horrible. He's played 62 career games and averaged 1.8 ppg. The worst part about him is that the Pacers wasted a first round pick on him in 2001

How about Tamar Slay Charlotte.

I don't know which position he plays, he can't shoot, he can't defend, he turns over the ball almost every other play.
He is useless.

Brezec was one of the bright spots for the Bobcats last season. You got the wrong info :D
There is a guy named Maurice Baker who scored 0.0 ppg, 0.2 apg and 0.2 topg in 4.5 mpg in 4 games for the Blazers. There should be more of players like this, but maybe it's not fair to count rookies who basicly didn't play in this category.

Shawn Bradley was one of the worst players to ever play in the NBA. At 7'6'' he could do absolutely nothing. He got dunked on by almost everyone. Im glad he's finally retiring.

michael olowakandi.. he's absolutely terrible.

i would like to say wally sczerbiak.. every time he tries to drive through the lane he either falls over or dribbles the ball off his feet.. but alas, he is much too good of a shooter to warrant consideration for this.

Justin Reed of the Boston Celtics. That chump is one of the main reasons the Cavs missed the playoffs last season......

He was their last guy off the bench & played the entirely 4th quarter of the final game of the season against NJ. Boston managed to slowly blow a 21 point 1st quarter lead. This guy is - by far - the worst player in the NBA. There's no doubt......

His stats look good in the box score, but he's never really played for a winner. That's all I have against him. But I would enver say he's the worst player in the NBA. No starters should be called the worst guys in the NBA. Some starters are pretty bad, but they're starting over their backups for a reason........

Kwame would take first in a biggest nba bust of all time list. Even Pervis Ellision had more game. MJ may have been the greatest ever on the court, but his front office skills off the court are on par with Scott Layden.

sorry to censure you but Steve Franis is actually 6 foot and 3 inches tall. That by any standards is not short for a point guard, not a shooting guard. The shortest shooting guard in the league is Earl Boykins, he's 5'5.

Mark Blount (from the Boston Celtics). He had a quadruple zero (zero points , rebs, assists and blocks) one time last year. I did not remember the opponent, nor the number of minutes he got, but I remember the comentator saying "Wow, this guy has been on our side the whole night". :)

He makes Michael Olowokadndi look like John Havlicheck (sorry if I misspelled it  ) in his prime.

BTW: I realized that I make constant fun of one of the players of my beloved team (Kandi man). Which I never did. So if I had to put out one thing that Mike gave to me as a fan it would be " Never ending pile of jokes". I mean , I dont laugh from Sam Cassell = ET , Ervin Johnson joke ("Hey Ervin, why the long face?"). Not even from Spree's "have to feed my family" jokes.

I wont agree with you on that one. He is a very decent role player. And there is nothing bad about it. From the time that I've seen him play I saw a guy that knows his role, is dedicated (by comparison Olowokandi just does not want to win) and gives you the little things. He is not a 20/10 guy but to be named "worst NBA player" you would have to damege your team. And Ervin does not do that.

The guy is 22 years old! He still has years to play, and you don't know how good he will do in LA. Can't be a bust if you have only played 4 years in the nba and are 22 years old.

what are you saying? Ervin can't be the worst in the league; look, he's old now, but back then in his earlier days, he was very good for a role player
