He’s always been shaky at LF. It’ll be nice to get him back at. 3B

Hopefully the All Star break does Rizzo some good. Man it has been a lost season from him. No worries Chatwood goes friday. We got this.

More worried that they scored 7 runs, in what, 33 innings. No bueno.

    Need a Brewers loss today.

Should be able to get 3 in San Diego. That is, if Chatwood doesn't completely blow. Ugh. Sucks that he is even still starting games.

Brewers down 3-2 in the 5th.

Do you think it's his back. He didn't look good running on that ball when the bases were loaded. Something didn't look quite right.

Better for him to start games where we have 4, 5, 6 innings to get him run support than it is to give him an inning in a close contest at the end of games.

But yeah, can we ship Chatwood off? Maybe give him an incentive that if he agrees to go away we will retire his jersey number, because **** it he’s probably cursed the ****ing thing.

Starlin walks it off on the Brew

I love the worries about the weak *** schedule they faced this week, and they just lost a series to Miami

7/9-7/11 - Cubs at Giants IGT

    Another oddity in baseball:

    1) The Indians and Rockies both scored 19 runs in their victories today. By the 4th inning, the Indians had 17 runs and the Rockies had 18 runs scored.

    2) The Reds had 3B Alex Blandino pitch in the 8th inning...and he struck out 2 batters (one on a 69 mph Knuckleball, another on a 90 mph Fastball) and gave up a hit in the inning.

    3) The D’Backs has both IF Daniel Descalso and C Alex Avila pitch in the game. They combined to throw the FINAL 4.2 INNINGS. Descalso went 2.2 IP, who gave up a HR to the opposing pitcher, German Marquez, and Avila went 2 scoreless innings

Tony didn't look right in this series....hitting, defense, baserunning.

Yes, I know it's been a terrible season for the guy with the bat, but you don't except him to struggle in other aspects of the game. Tony will hopefully come back strong after the break, and looks like it can't come soon enough after these two games. I have been dismissing his season long funk (offensively) and just keep waiting for the guy to break out.

One has to wonder if he's gutting out an injury.

I think you're being too tough on KB.

But I feel good about Heyward making that play, had he been there instead.

Sadly, I will probably have forgotten about this the next time some knucklehead goes on about how corner OF defense doesn't matter.
