    Hey Rajon,

How does a floor general PG sound to you? We have outside shooting, slashing, and immense defense. We need someone to run the entire show and we feel your veteran experience would be huge for our group. We can elaborate in more detail, but here is our roster:

    PG - YOU
    SG - Zach Lavine
    SF - Robert Covington
    PF - Lauri Markkanen
C - Clint Capela (Offer out to him)
    6th: Evan Fournier

We will match the 10 million with maximum increases on a 1+1 deal

    Thanks,

    Bulls FO

    Rajon,

We're going to work on creating space for you to get more with us. If you can bear with us.

But in the mean time, we want to discuss how even with our current roster, we give the opportunity for you to really operate with guys that can just shoot the three and space the floor. Those other teams aren't going to be able to give you that which means one of two things for you: Either more traffic to weave through or less turnovers. We know you are a smart guy who can make smart decisions, and feel that the spacing we can give you will a chance to really put that on display.

While you contemplate that, we are going to be working the phones to improve our ability to offer you more.

    Rajon,

While we work on opening up cap, we want to inform you that Brooklyn is offering something they can't deliver on as your contract will put them over the soft cap and they have another offer that would make yours void if they take it.

Meanwhile we're still working on a way to pursue you and Mr. Ariza.

    Rajon,

We feel like we have a roster that has a good amount of versatility. We have a variety of ballhandlers on the roster so you're not asked to do it all, and guys that can create for one another. We also feel like we do have spacing with Otto Porter, Carmelo, and DeAndre Ayton; and while it's not at the level of some of the other teams, we feel like it can work seamlessly. We're also looking to open up more cap to add another shooter + defender, to help ease any concerns, if you do have any.

Also, you've been quoted as wanthing to help young guards along in their career:

From what I've seen, I'm excited to get a player that age and try to help him as much as I can, as far as understanding the game and getting his game up to speed as far as at a high level
Well, we have two guards in Dennis Smith Jr. and D'Angelo Russell, who both have an extremely high ceiling, but just need a veteran like yourself to guide them along. Now is your chance.

    Don't know where Chicago is.

Clippers why should Rondo pick you over Brooklyn?

Brooklyn has to open up the cap for you, our offer is there.

On the court, we're putting together a team to give you the spacing to take advantage of the natural ability that you have to probe the lane, play into the pick and roll game with Adams, and really open up the game with spacing. Based on your history you would really thrive on that. We're also handing you the starting job without much competition. We also feel as though you would love playing with other smart players such as JJ Redick and Dario Saric.
