"The Old Man" from Pawn Stars died at 77

    https://www.usatoday.com/story/life/...ath/730665002/

His real named is Richard Harrison. This sucks, the show will not be the same without him. He provided lots of laughs. RIP

Actually, Old Man Harrison retired sort of recently and was no longer on the show. But it was still sad news. He was in the Navy and then built a business -- what America is all about.

My favorite thing he said was when he was having his usual problems with Chumley and he says "In my day, your boss would beat the hell out of you -- and that was if he liked you." Where and when did the Old Man live? Medieval Europe? {LOL} Rest in peace.

But he turned out to be an NFL-level troublemaker.

Didn't know his about his passing until now. He had snappy sense of humor. Loved it.

    R.I.P.

In 2013, I went to the store, waited in line for about 30 minutes. The Old Man and Rick had just left for a desert area looking to try a weapon. Store is a lot smaller in person as opposed to on TV, but was packed. Ending up buying a mouse pad for myself and my boss.

Show won't be the same without him.......

The new season of "Counting Cars" starts tonight. (I mention this because Danny the Count used to be the car consultant on "Pawn Stars" before he got his own show.) I love how we're supposed to believe that every time they go cruising around for a classic car, there's one in every driveway. The term "reality shows" needs quotation marks around the word "reality" that are the size of the letters that make up the giant Hollywood sign up on that hill.
