This Carter Stewart kid looks like Teddy Perkins from that Atlanta EP. They put a shitload of makeup on him.

Joey Bart will be a 4-5 WAR catcher

    This is a no doubter.

Congrats SF. He's not quite Buster but he will replace him and give you a franchise catcher after Posey hands the torch over.

    Good leader too.

Ok. This could have been posted in the mlb draft thread.

But hope Bart does take off. Was really hoping for a pitcher tbh.

We just have to hear about every prediction Nats ever makes, and he ignores whenever he's called out for being incorrect.

This guy says the 2nd overall pick will be a good player. He really likes to go out on a limb, doesn't he!

Royals drafted an entire starting rotation before most teams got a 2nd pick
and my Twins drafted...who? at 59? oh good, not a pitcher again, not even a kid anyone ranked in the top 250
    gotta love 'referential' treatment

There could be 0 posters left on this site and he'd still do it.

    Last ten 2nd overall picks

    Pedro Alvarez
    Dustin Ackley
    Jameson tailon
    Danny hultzen
    Buxton
    Kris Bryant
    Tyler kolek
    Bregmen
    Nick senzel
    Hunter Greene

The only guy in past ten drafts that has been a 4-5 war player is Bryant who I was also all in on.

Being 2nd overall doesnt mean you're going to be good.

The Rays came away with two guys that could of been drafted in the top ten.

    They sure live their LHP.

Royals drafting 5 college pitchers that will help them in the rotation was very good too.

Phillies getting Bohm was great for them, he will mash, but he will be at first base.

Mets got shut out of probably the three best college bats, so they took the best HS bat.

Solid pick, but it will be years before he makes it to the team.

It's fun to have new players to root for and follow through the minor leagues.
